Great place, hard workers. Second chance, without the gimmicks. Thank you TDA. Tons of selections and easy to test drive, given you have prior insurance to drive and a valid DL. My experience was way better than expected. I spoke to Jerome Werling on a Thursday and talked about a vehicle and the next day when I got there he already had the paperwork ready. I test drive the vehicl Jerome Werling on a Thursday and talked about a vehicle and the next day when I got there he already had the paperwork ready. I test drive the vehicle I was looking at and found that it did not have a third row, which I needed. I drove it back to the dealership and explained I needed a third row suv within an hour he had helped me find a different vehicle and redid the paperwork without missing a step. He was very helpful and the rest of the staff were very nice as well. I will definitely be buying my next vehicle from y’all and will without a doubt recommend to anyone else looking to buy. Thank y’all for making it extremely easy. More
Great experience two cars selected were purchased before I could complete my paperwork but the sales agent worked to find another one that got my needs and removed it from inventory to avoid the same issue! Failure in customer service Things seemed great at the start of our experience. Showed up in Houston after talking via text with a sales person on an agreed upon time. When we Things seemed great at the start of our experience. Showed up in Houston after talking via text with a sales person on an agreed upon time. When we arrived the car wasn't immediately found but the sales person was tracking it down. We presumed they were cleaning it up and/or locating it. Showed up very soon after this conversation. Test drive of a vehicle we wanted went well. The car looked, smelled, ran fine. We drove a few miles, checked out all the interior, exterior, features we cared about, etc. Made it back to the dealer and sales rep, and started the process. First minor issue: we pointed out the car only had ~1/8 of a tank of gas. We were told its standard to only provide a quarter tank now (which we've actually confirmed with another dealership) but really? How many corners are we cutting that a dealer can't provide a tank of gas? Second minor issue: after checking out our 3rd party financing we were all set to get the car they just had to clean it and then it was brought around and all 4 tires had wheel locks for which they couldn't find the key. We were told we could go to dinner because it would take at least 20 minutes to get them off and replace them, so we left and an hour later the car still wasn't ready yet. Waited a bit more, then finally it was brought around. First major issue: We mentioned several times we were from Austin and transferring bags from our other car to this one and several people along the way explained how we could transfer belongings. We were several times told we have 7 days to return the vehicle no questions asked with just a ~450$ restocking charge. Never once was it stated that we would not (despite every person along the way knowing we were from Austin) mentioned that we would have trouble returning for the fine print reason that they won't take a return after 250 miles (guess what, its ~175 to Austin from this dealership one way). Should we have seen this in the fine print? Of course, but we put trust in several people to do the right thing and be thorough and honest. Second major issue: 24 hours after driving this vehicle back to Austin, it started reeking of cigarette smoke. I mean like standing in a Las Vegas casino smell. There's no way the dealership had someone in this car without knowing it was a smoker vehicle. Additionally we drove this 175+ miles and didn't smell a thing. With this in mind and the fact that we were a family of four and at least 1-2 cleanings were done on this vehicle while we were present, I'm left feeling like they knew this and covered it up knowingly. We talked to multiple managers at the dealership and basically told the contract clearly states the mileage limits and we were in the vehicle and should have known, which isn't wrong but there was no desire to make the situation right by any means. Unless you call cleaning it again for 24 hours of decent smell an offer to help. We ended up swapping the vehicle out for another vehicle of similar type, making absolutely sure there was no smell this time and just paid fees for over mileage, then the dealership had the audacity to inflate the mileage by over 100 miles. We fought this and got this ironed out, but only after having proof (took a picture) with the new vehicle that a difference exists in miles between when test driving and what's show on the official paper work. They ended up having a document of what the miles are when you leave the dealership but managed to forget about this for the original vehicle till the issue was pressed. My suggestion is to avoid this dealership at all costs dealership since there is zero interest in making you feel like a valued customer, the desire is purely to get you out the door. During this whole process we never had a supervisor, or manager engage us even after our second visit and multiple complaints up the chain of management. It was _always_ sales. More
