Price Increase during discussion of car???? I saw a vehicle on the Texas Cars Direct Website that I was interested in purchasing. I contacted a Sells Rep and we discussed the vehicle condition, I saw a vehicle on the Texas Cars Direct Website that I was interested in purchasing. I contacted a Sells Rep and we discussed the vehicle condition, options and history. I explained that because I lived in Houston and they are in Dallas that I needed a couple of days before I could look at the car. He said no problem and we arranged an appointment day and time to look at the car. The day before I was to look at the car I sent them my trade-in info so that they could provide me with an estimate of the trade-in value. While doing this I went back to their website to look at the description of the car I was interested in only to find they had increased the price of this used car by $2,000.00. I immediately contacted the Sells Rep. He said that happens and there was nothing they would do about it even though I had taken off work and had arranged to see the car as outlined above. They would not honor the orginal price. Very disappointed that they do business like this. More
