Initially I was greeted by Brodie Scott online who I spoke with only a few times, the rest was all “texts”, which I thought was odd but I have never purchased a vehicle out of state like this so I admit I placed more trust in these guys then the average dealer you walk into. The vehicle was apparently serviced by Texas Auto, inspected and completely “gone thru” per Brodie; I wouldn’t have expected much problems with a truck that had only 65K miles. I was skeptical and the sales process took some time. He ended up having “Frank” in management call me to persuade a bit and handle the financing. Tim Hopf, finance manager also called and apologized because it took them so long to get back and return calls. They ended up admitting they “dropped the ball”, which should have been my first sign to bail but I'm a trusting person. It took weeks for them to get back to me on “numbers”…then finally, Casey Murphy called who said he was the “GM”…told me the truck was “pristine” and nothing was wrong with it, that is was one of the nicest trucks on their lot. He did a great job of the hard sale and persuasion…after this I was ready to buy but had some specific questions. Brodie was no longer available for unknown reasons, so they pitched my off to “Michael” who then started texting me. I flat out said I wanted to know if the truck had any issues “at all”…that minor issues were OK, I just wanted to know if it had any issues so I didn’t have any unexpected surprises. He took some videos of the truck running, rolled up and down the windows and sent it to me, followed by a phone call that it was a “nice truck” and he’d “buy it”. I really trusted these guys. After waiting many weeks for them to get the paperwork in line, then the shipping problems began, which took many many more weeks. Of course after sending earnest money and signing all the papers, which they had to send twice, Brodie stopped working with me and coordination with the shipper; when the truck finally arrived, we noticed right away, they provided false/misleading information and did not disclose many many issues…besides the fact it had empty beer cans in the bed, rusty nails and plastic broken body parts; upper tailgate plastic was busted and the lock to tailgate didn’t work…it gets better. Brodie stated the truck had 35 inch tires in great condition; it had 37 inch tires that were much wider also, which is why the shippers kept showing up and saying they couldn’t transport…would have thought he looked at the tires. Seems pretty simple for a dealership that advertises they deal with lifted trucks. They are also shot; already got a quote to replace tires for $3400. This is only the start. Radio didn’t work as soon as I got in….followed by sunroof, didn’t tilt or slide at all. This is about the time my wife and kids looked at me and wondered what the xxxx I got myself into. I texted Michael and Brodie immediately. Michael responded later in the day that the radio might have been “unplugged for transport”? Yeah, I’ve never heard of that either. Called the shipper and he laughed stating they would never touch anything like that. He made no comment on the sunroof. In the next week, I went through the truck and here’s what surfaced besides cracked tires with no tread, inoperable stereo, inoperable sunroof…none of the light bars work, checked all fuses. Auto window function does not work. Digital gauge is “flickering” in the console that shows gas tank capacity and miles to empty (would be nice if this worked)…windshield they claimed they put in and offered a warranty with, the seal is on the out part of the window on one side; very obvious. After washing the truck, it has white overspray over the entire hood, front fenders, doors and roof. So much that it was professionally detailed and they could not get the paint out with the heaviest compound and pads machine buffing it out. Rear tail lights flicker when in reverse, 3rd brake light doesn’t work. To top it off, last week the transmission slipped at a stop light and would not go into gear when stepping on the gas. I have reached out to these guys with countless emails, texts and calls, no return call except Brodie asked why it took so long to respond and saying I bought the truck in beginning of July…he didn’t do his homework. I didn’t get the truck until end of July…oh and get this, I already PAID for my registration, tax and plates and STILL DO NOT HAVE THEM 2 months later!!!! NO ONE from the dealership has ever reached out to me and he had the nerve to ask why I haven’t called them. So there’s the tactic…they obviously know what’s going because he admitted it, but they won’t reach out because they know they are at fault and rather than handle it like a professional business and take care of their customer; the profit is too important and they will wipe their hands of it because it’s not a “local sale” it's over for them. Typical used dealer who’s response is you bought it “as is”…based on their false/misleading information. This was truly my biggest fear in buying a vehicle out of state and it came true unfortunately. Be careful, buy from a reputable dealer. More

I ended up working with Cameron who made the process easy and helped with the finer points of buying the vehicle. I flew into Houston, made it to the dealership and was on my way in a flash. As I had already arranged financing, this was the quickest, easiest buying experience ever out of nearly 20 different cars I've purchased over the years. I would not hesitate to work with Cameron or this dealership again. More

The whole buying process was seamless and well explained. When I arrived my vehicle was actually at a different location. The staff was very apologetic and tried to make up for it immediately. Aside from that minor hiccup the whole ordeal was great. They take the stress out of buying a car. More
