Worst Car Buying Experience Well the first issue that occurred with this dealership was that we used a post dated check for a down payment. As soon as they got the check they cas Well the first issue that occurred with this dealership was that we used a post dated check for a down payment. As soon as they got the check they cashed it and did not wait until the date on the check. This drained my bank account into the negative. When I called it was a Friday and happened to be a 3 day weekend. The finance manager Lupe said he apologizes but that wasn't his deal so he'll talk to the accounting department and get back with me. I asked what was I supposed to do for the next 4 days with no money what so ever and he said that again he's sorry bit it wasn't his deal. Its been about 3 weeks now and he still never has got back to me about the situation. The only way I was able to get money back into my account was to stop payment on the check. After we did that, Texas Auto reported us to a credit agency who now has the account. We sent the money to them but the mark is still on our credit report. The icing on the cake is that when they delivered the car "which they made me pay $600 for", the car was dead and would not start. The transporter claims that he told them and they said to deliver it as is and tell me it's probably just a cable. This whole experience has been a month long nightmare and I will never recommend Texas Auto to anyone!!! More
