I will never return to this location. I will drive out of my way to go to Buick dealership in another city. I have also advise all my friends, acquaintances, followers not to have any bus I will drive out of my way to go to Buick dealership in another city. After my own personal incident, I was speaking with a family member who also had a horrifying story from Texan Buick GMC. I scheduled a service with Texan and I had an email for a free oil change on my newly purchase Buick encore GX. The woman at the service desk refused to apply to my oil change and said she wasn't sure how to do it… It came directly from Buick and it even had a SKU number. I'm not sure what the problem was in trying to apply it to my oil change. This was not until after I approached the desk to pay that I realized the coupon had not been applied in. My total was over $80. No problem there, I was informed of the regular oil change price beforehand. When I inquired again about the free oil change and received the same response that she was unable to do anything with that… I then presented a coupon that I had on my phone directly from the dealership I was standing in, Texan Buick GMC. I was then informed by the same woman that she could not honor that. I was becoming a little irritated at this point. I was informed by the lady checking me out that she could not apply the $69.95 coupon, the same one that I had pulled up from the dealers website. because according to her, it was not a coupon. I tried to point out the fact it actually had the word coupon on the coupon and I was dismissed. It seemed at that point. The woman was also a little irritated as well. I left the dealership feeling like I was taking advantage of. I was not heard, I was blatantly ignored and dismissed by the staff. And I have tried several times to call up there and speak to the general manager since January 9, 2025 when I received the oil change. I tried to call up there the same day and several days after to speak with the general manager with no luck. I did receive a follow up text from the dealership, specifically the woman who checked me out, had asked that I give a good rating. I read this email and I replied to it informing her I would take the survey. In the email, I also added a friendly reminder that I still am needing to speak to the general manager. After that, I never received the survey. I never received any further communication from the woman at the dealership. Followed up to speak with general manager. I was told he was out of the office, he was on vacation, etc. And the final insult to injury, was that I looked at my oil change sticker and it was incorrect. It states it did my oil change on such and such date accompanied with the mileage. This information was placed in my vehicle incorrectly. It states that it did my oil change. It's 78,000 some odd miles… I didn't have anywhere close to 78,000 miles at that time and I'm still not at 78,000 miles today. More
Great experience, everyone I dealt with was very professional. I dropped my truck off Tuesday night. The next day around noon they sent an Uber driver to pick me up and take me to the dealership. Very disappointed with this dealership. New GMC Terrain Denali with 1,000 miles (bought elsewhere) needs to be left at the dealership for up to six weeks for a known SD card issue. They sold me a wheel and tire warranty with my truck and when I took it in, I was told that my warranty doesn't cover the tires on my truck. The same tires that were on the truck when i bought it!! They said this has never happened and had to send the case to corporate. 3 months later!! I still haven't heard anything. I talked to the supervisor, who gave me the run around. I had a mixed experience. Bobby was a good sales guy and Lupe, the SM, made a point of getting involved in everything. This type of low-balling the base price and then requiring the add-ons to make their profit margin is a bad practice, but one that you do not have to accept. One week after the purchase, the engine light on the dash came on. The owners manual instructs you to bring it to a Ford dealership. The car was still under warranty, so no problem, right? Well, Ford fixed the warrantied part, but there was some road damage that was not covered to the tune of $950.00. I contacted Lupe and Bobby who said to bring the truck out to them and they would fix it there unless they could not get the part. I worked with Vanessa in the Service Dept. She was great! One week later I got the car back, and.... no charge to me! So as far as recommending the dealership, it seems like you just have to find the right people and you'll be OK. If you want to avoid the add-on scheme, go to a Sewell dealership. More
They do not take care of one's personal information here. Twice in the last year, since I purchased a car from them, they have mixed up my personal contact information with another customer. This has led to twice my OnStar and myGMC services being interrupted and set up with another vehicle. This has also led to unsolicited emails and calls about car sales. The second time was recently even after they assured my wife and I that there would not be another mix up again last year. The first time they dragged their feet on actually correcting the issue; the second time they told me that they will do their best to delete the information from the other customer profile but could not guarantee that I would not be contacted again in the future. The lack of concern or interest in resolving this issue highlights a potential lack of care in protecting other personal information. More
The only communication from our service associate has been sarcastic and rude! Hours go by between asking for an update and asking again then more hours then I have to contact the manager and finally I g been sarcastic and rude! I have not complained about the amount of time it is taking and still the associate doesn’t respond. My only ask was to be kept in the loop about the progress or lack there of. Once my warranty is expired I will never go here again! More
