I was told my parts were in so I made an appointment to have everything done. After day 2, I was called to say my truck was ready for pickup. I went down to retrieve my truck and was told I would have to come back again because the parts that were in, were actually given away before my appointment to another customer. (Transmission cooler line, oil cooler line, and Bluetooth mic) I dropped my truck off for a second time to finish the oil cooler line and Bluetooth mic on a Monday April 30. Upon retrieving my vehicle I was told I had to come back a third time because the Bluetooth mic was on back order even though I requested a call when EVERYTHING was in. When I walked to my truck I noticed all the screws in the wheel well were backed out and not secured, and a screw was missing in the bumper in the same area (I believe it was from the previous visit). I also inquired about the oil that was underneath my truck in a fresh puddle. I was told is was residual from the oil cooler line. I left and ran an errand in town. While driving home, after about 20 minutes since picking up the vehicle, the service engine light, low engine oil came on. I pulled back into the dealer and inquired if they checked the oil before completing the service and I was told that they probably “forgot to reset the oil level sensor”. They checked the oil and the dipstick was dry. The service writer grabbed 2 quarts of oil and put it in my truck. After checking the oil level again, the dipstick was still dry. He told a tech to get another 2 quarts and at that point I requested them to do a complete oil change since it’s clear the oil wasn’t checked prior to releasing a vehicle that came in for an oil leak from the oil cooler line. I drove my truck around town, with no oil in my engine because the tech didn’t think to check the oil level. I was asked if I had any free oil changes remaining that they could use, and I said that I did but I wouldn’t be using it on this because I believed the dealer should be responsible for not properly checking the oil level during warranty work that was associated with an oil leak. The service writer then said they would cover the cost and do a tire rotation. I was very upset that I left the dealer with no oil in my engine, I spoke to the service manager while the oil change was being done. He was very appologetic and I appreciated it. He gave me a few oil changes and assured me it wouldn’t happen again. My concern is that there may have been damage done to the engine and I would like to ensure the warranty will cover any issued that could be linked to this lapse in workmanship. I would like it on writing that I was allowed to leave the dealership with no oil in my engine after service work was completed, I think that would be the right thing to do. On top of all of that, Everytime I was here for service, I felt that I was an inconvenience to everyone because I was getting service done. Don is a great asset to the department, but most of the other employees are miserable and more importantly, they are noticeably miserable to all customers. Take a look one day of the employees walking around with the nasty looks on their faces. Update 5/2/18 -The service manager reached out to me following the review and assured me the issues will be resolved. He addressed my concerns and I appreciated the conversation we had. More

You're pressured, you feel lied to sometimes, and then you end up disappointed in something about the experience. Not with Terryville Chevrolet. First and foremost, my girlfriend and I drove two hours to come here. This was due to a sight-unseen appraisal of my vehicle and for the purchase price on the new vehicle. I was skeptical at first being that I've had dealers try and pull things on sight unseen valuations where they try and pull the price back when you get there. I went out of my way to describe the vehicle as good as I could (including multiple pictures), so as a heads up to anyone, this always helps. When I got to the dealer, I was met immediately outside by my salesman, Bob Dimeo. He came out in the rain to welcome us to the shop and immediately brought the Camaro I was likely going to purchase out to me. Not only this, but on the test drive of the car, he had the car filled up to the brim with premium fuel (I've had dealers fully content with giving you a 1/4 tank and sending you on your way). The car was, frankly, even better than the pictures showed. It is a CPO Camaro ZL1. The paint is perfect, the interior was spotless. As careful as I am with my own cars, it was a breath of fresh air to see such a well treated CPO on the lot. You can tell that Terryville Chevy cares about the appearance of their inventory. Finally, on the car, the pricing was impeccable. I believe that it may have been sitting for a couple of months or a month due to it being a 5th Gen Camaro when the 6th Gens are out (not surprising). So the price on the car was, to be fully honest, unbeatable. I did not even feel the need to haggle for a single dime. The pricing was that good. And there were ZERO hidden prices. When I got the invoicing, everything was on it as I expected. The transaction went incredibly smooth. We also then dealt with Stephen Venturo in finance. Another gentleman and yet another guy that treated us more like family or friends than mere customers. We probably spent another 15 minutes over what we would've done just by chatting with him. Once again, this was a no-pressure transaction. You know those warranties that dealers always want you to buy? Stephen explained them to us and then did not pressure us at all to buy anything. Where else do you find such a great experience? Their dealer doc fee is about average and I did not feel the need to try and negotiate on that at all. For the record, Stephen is meticulous about getting the details right. His motto seems to be, "Do it once, do it right." as documentation can be a real pain in the butt (especially for out of state buyers such as us!). So when you realize the effort that goes into getting things done accurately, you begin to question the document fee less (and, as said, I feel like it was industry average and certainly cheaper than many dealers). I also want to give a shout out to Geoff Butkevich. This gentleman was the person who appraised my vehicle sight-unseen and then stuck by the pricing. Again, I've seen plenty of dealers try and change things. I even spoke with Geoff on the phone (he was not at the dealership on Sunday) to make sure that his price was firm as long as my description was accurate. He assured me this was the case. And, frankly, he was 100% right!! The fact that these guys were honest, transparent, friendly, and without pressure? You're talking about the perfect car-buying experience. I cannot stress how easy this was. I've never felt more like a friend or family member than a customer at any car-purchasing experience. This was a really cool experience and I cannot thank all three gentlemen that we dealt with. You guys are a heck of a team and I can see why your dealership is so well-regarded. Thank you again. More

I I initially went into terryville Chevrolet to look at a beautiful 2016 corvette. Unfortunately it started snowing and we couldn't do much that day. I called the dealership the following week and was paired up with Amy to take the car for a ride and eventually make the deal. She treated me with the upmost respect, being 21 and looking at corvettes left many people to not take me seriously. It was actually fun to buy a car from her! She was so personable. Both her and the dealership worked with my concerns and ultimately got me the deal that allowed me to purchase this beautiful car. Thanks again Amy!! More

Great experience with our salesman Chris Gagliardo. He was extremely patient and was very helpful as we explored our many options. Our trade -ins were well compensated and the deal was done. But it only got better when we met with the money man Steve Venturo, who we knew from before from sales. He captured a sweet rate on the loan and treated us like family. Steve is a great guy to work with. This dealership also has great service departments! They really do make buying a car or truck enjoyable. Thanks Terryville Chevrolet.
