Bad experience with the sales manager On Saturday, my wife and I visited Terry Thomson Chevrolet in Daphne to try to buy a Chevrolet Traverse. On the price negotiations we requested to se On Saturday, my wife and I visited Terry Thomson Chevrolet in Daphne to try to buy a Chevrolet Traverse. On the price negotiations we requested to see if we could talk to the sales manager since we did not understand why Terry Thomson could not meet the price or close to the price we had obtained from the Chevrolet website. We were offered a car with less features than what we had on paper and for a higher price. At the moment, we were sitting and I sincerely believe that that we addressed everyone with respect and courtesy. When Mr. Clay Borg arrived, he placed his foot on the table while talking to me and my wife. It calls my attention that this position is very uncomfortable to sustain during a conversation but I believe that Mr. Borg was trying to make a point. I quickly realized that I could not talked to Mr. Borg since he was not interested on what I had to say. I understand he is a busy man and I might have been taking him away of his duties but I feel that we did not deserved a sarcastic statement telling me that I had worked the system or wasted their time. Mr. Clay Borg was very rude and never allow me to explain my concerns with his proposal so that he could explain if he could meet my requirements. Mr. Borg also fail to understand that I wanted to buy a car from Terry Thompson since we had had a very good experience the last time we bought a car at this location. I was very clear to all that if I did not feel comfortable with the price, my intentions were to wait and build a larger down payment and still buy the car from Terry Thomson. This is the closest Chevrolet dealership to my house and your maintenance department is great. After careful consideration we decided that the foot on the desk deal from your sales manager is more than what we would accept from someone we are trying to do business with. We will go ahead and try our luck on the internet and evaluate if it is worth buying from Terry Thompson Chevrolet (Who I do not blame for the actions of this individual). Jose N.
