Teenager’s first car My wife and 16 year-old son were shopping for his first car. We looked at a few places, even shopped online to see what the “best deal” should be for My wife and 16 year-old son were shopping for his first car. We looked at a few places, even shopped online to see what the “best deal” should be for us. We didn’t have a particular car in mind but narrowed it down to a couple of cars that we thought we would choose from. We stopped in to see what Terrebonne Ford had to offer, being that online inventory is not always what’s available. We were met by Lanny Picou on the pre-owned lot. I explained what we were shopping for and Lanny gave great info on our situation. He suggested a car that was a little more than I wanted pay, but (as all sales teams do) quickly pointed out that what we were looking at was really not the best deal for us. Spending just a little more on an available program car vs. other cars we looked at, getting a factory warranty, and stepping up in class, gave us a nicer car than we thought we would end up with. They even stayed late on a Saturday knowing my son was excited to get his own wheels. Had a great experience and my son couldn’t be happier. More
