Your Quick Lane service department did an alignment on my Fusion Hybrid on 10/23/19 when I bought new tires. That alignment caused my car to violently jerk back and forth when I would drive over any ice or snow. I brought the car back on 12/2/19 and had the alignment checked and was sent on my way again with the same problem. I returned to Quick Lane again on 12/4/19 and had another alignment check done and was again sent on my way with the same problem. Each time I had to wait several hours for the work to be performed because you do not take appointment in the Quick Lane, and no loaner car was provided. Then finally, I brought my car back to your Service department on 1/24/20 for something else, and to address the alignment issue. At that time, I was informed by service writer James Niemuth, that it had been discovered that your alignment rack had a defective part that was causing it to mis-align the cars. Certainly, in addition to my car, many cars would have been mis-aligned during that several months’ time. Knowing this, I would expect that it is a curtesy, if not a major SAFETY issue that you would contact all customers who had alignments done by an inaccurate alignment rack. That never happened! You have stated "The situation you have described is not typical for our dealership". However, this happened several times over several months. It is amazing that it took your service department so long to correct the problem and then did not take action to notify the customers. Dave Rausch
