My experience was good and the employees were good. I do have a couple of issues to mention that would have made my experience much better. I was initially “low balled” on my trade. After I protested it was brought up to a reasonable level. I felt this was a tactic that is being used on everyone as there probably are a number of people who do not protest. The protection package was not adequately explained. The sheet placed in front of me did not have pricing on it. It was only after I was well into the purchase did I see it was an add on to the price of the vehicle. More
I am not sure who Taylor or Chad are? ?, so I cannot rate them. My experience with James was frustrating. He was helpful at first, but after that things declined. He didn't show up for ?, so I cannot rate them. My experience with James was frustrating. He was helpful at first, but after that things declined. He didn't show up for our scheduled test drive so I worked with Heather. Then it was back to James. A little confusing who I was supposed to be working with. As our conversations continued, I was told certain things would be fixed on the truck. The truck was delivered to me, which was nice, but turns out it wasn't ready and made for an inconvient trip back to the dealership for me. Because I had to bring the truck back, James told me there would be a service car available. On the day of my appointment, no service car was ready and James was again not around. Basically James was all in and said what he needed to say to make the deal. He did not follow through with items discussed (ex. copies of the service on the truck, the missing key), even after multiple requests. I Finally did receive them when I had to come back to have the windshield replaced- Mike in the service department was very helpful! I also want to note since I did get copies of the service performed on the truck- I took the truck to my mechanic because the brakes were still squeaking and I wanted an overall check done. It is listed that some brake work was done to the truck from Tenvoorde. My mechanic redid alot of the work because of how poorly it was done by Tenvoorde. I know that my used truck purchase is not the primary focus of your dealership, and that you'd rather get it off the lot quick without spending any money on it. However, this was a big purchase for myself, but based off my experience, I will not be returning or recommending Tenvoorde Ford. More
