I had a 2006 Kia Sedona that was stolen several weeks ago right from my driveway. I have been driving a van for about 15 years and was ready for a change even though it was a great vehicle for us. My husband was very patient with me and wanted me to have the perfect vehicle, so we traipsed all over the Tempe Auto Plex and even to Chapman Chevy in Tempe. I initially decided upon a Chevy Equinox and went to the dealership with check book in hand. All of a sudden the prices on the vehicle started changing until eventually my husband and I stormed out. Needless to say, we were very upset and starting at square one. We decided to venture over to the Kia dealer where we met Justin Bean. He was very patient with me. He not only knew all the Kia inventory inside and out but he knew the Dodge and Jeep stock as well. We had no pressure. Lo and behold, he showed us a new 2012 Sedona to compare the other vehicles against for leg room, very important as we have a son who is almost 6'9, value, and style. We decided that as much as we liked our previous Sedona we would stick with what worked for us. Justin never applied pressure, he listened intently, and led us back to where we should have started. Justin explained price and value, and we are very satisfied with the price he worked out for us. When we picked the van up the next day, Justin gave us the most extensive and knowledgeable tour of the vehicle than we have ever had on any vehicle we have owned. He helped up sync up our phones to the Bluetooth, opened the hood to explain the engine, and gave us a rundown of our maintenance schedule. He never rushed us and wanted us to be very comfortable with the vehicle. Thank you very much to Justin for making this our first pleasant car buying experience! We had read reviews of the Kia Rio and liked the complete overhaul in looks and performance. Since Kia-Tempe is very close to our house we decided on a Sunday afternoon to check the Rio out. We met Barry Sureway (602-592-9129) and were very upfront with him that we were just looking. In spite of that, Barry was very friendly, discussed the value of the Rio and took us for a test drive. He then had our present car evaulated and helped us work out a price we felt we couldn't do any better any where else. It was a very pleasant experience in all aspects. As senior citizens we had had many experiences buying cars in the past and this one was certainly the most comfortable and rewarding of all time! This is the first time we can say a car salesman became a friend! We would recommend Kia-Tempe and our salesperson, Barry Sureway to any one looking for a good experience and a value filled deal! More
THE VERY WORST DEALER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!Went thier to test drive a 2012 kia Sorrento and the salesman williams collins was very rude.I had been to at least 10 different car dealer of other makes thier to test drive a 2012 kia Sorrento and the salesman williams collins was very rude.I had been to at least 10 different car dealer of other makes and no problems.As i just wanted to quickly just test drive this vehicle and not waste his time or mine i gave him my drivers licence and asked for a test drive.He then wanted my home phone of which i told him that i do not give my number do to the fact i work graveyard shift and a lot of overtime and cant have phone calls.he rudely told me no phone number....no test drive.I told him I would give my e-mail and he just gave my licence back and said No.You have go to be kidding me!!!Call the manager from the parking lot and was just as rude.Well tempe Kia I bought a 2012 honda crv ex-l,great car, best buy i ever made THANK YOU HONDA SAVED ME FROM TEMPE KIA. I would recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family. I especially liked my sales associate Scott. Scott was wonderful he is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He knew his facts about the cars I was interested in, but he was not pushy I really like that I'm not a fan of pushy salesmen. I also really enjoyed how the car was presented when I came to pick it up. I felt like I won the lottery or I was a movie star. My name was up on the flat screen TV, it was so cool. I had been shopping for a very specific model of Dodge Durango, so I had been calling several dealers in the country but when you are a long distance buyer you barely get the time of day with most dealers Durango, so I had been calling several dealers in the country but when you are a long distance buyer you barely get the time of day with most dealers. Warren however took the time to work with me through the question process he even went out to the car and took additional pictures of the vehicle to send me so that I would be sure the care had the features I was looking for. He never pressured me at all to make a quick decision or used any scare tactics to push me to buy, instead was very patient with me as I have a lot of reservations since I had never bought a car long distance and worst of all sight unseen. When i was ready to make an offer and negotiate, against he was very patient with me and really worked with me and buffered the usual back and forth between his management and me. The process took several days because the long distance but at the end he got me the price i needed to accept and move forward and close the transaction. Additionally he assisted me with the paperwork related to the financing of the vehicle with my credit union in Florida and personally inspected the car and handle the delivery to the transport company i hired to bring my Durango to Miami. Buying a car in the internet may save you a lot of money but can also be a very stressful and emotionally taxing process. I can't thank Warren and his team enough for helping us through the process, and for keeping all of their promises and most of all for getting us a great deal in our family car. My husband and I would both rather have a root canal than buy a new car ... however, having said that, that is definitely NOT true of our experience yesterday.
