Be very aware before buying your car here UPDATE: Changed from 2 to 3 stars. Tempe Kia worked with me to resolve one of my issues with the overall experience. Ok experience buying a car he UPDATE: Changed from 2 to 3 stars. Tempe Kia worked with me to resolve one of my issues with the overall experience. Ok experience buying a car here... Sales person wasn't pushy, but other than that I can't recommend it. Let me give you breakdown, and hopefully I can help you save some money: - They are going to try to sell you some "addons", common thing when buying anything now a days, basically an extended insurance. - The way they are going to present it is that Kia basically offers three warranties 3years/36K miles, 5years/50K miles and lastly 10years/100K miles - They will break it down, something like 25% of your car is covered for 3 years, 60% is covered for 5 years and only 15% is covered for 10 year ----- Where are they getting those numbers from? Is that parts? Of cost of repair? They throw numbers so you think you have less and less covered. - THEN they will then try to push the extra warranty on top of you, and they might even try to compare it to your phone protection coverage, which is definitely not the same, since your phone you pay extra monthly and it is protect from start, even if you drop it and breaks. - The big difference here is that their coverage doesn't even kick in after Kia's coverage stops. - Most people don't really keep their car for over 5 years, so the more people they can get into this program, the more money they make, that's how insurance works, plus you have to remember that the sales person works for a commission. - Don't be a sucker like me and buy into it. - REMEMBER: Once you buy a car, it is yours... you can't return it. The law will not protect you here, it is not like buying other products online or at regular stores. Unfortunately my experience with this dealership really made me think of the choice I made, and they make me wish I had considered an alternative. More
