I had a bad experience, I waited almost 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation! I don’t think I will return to Tempe Honda after my experience yesterday. I have been an owner or lessee of only Honda vehicles since 1977. Not once have I had to pay for repairs or been stranded on any roadway due to a breakdown. Of all the dealers I have dealt with in Ch since 1977. Not once have I had to pay for repairs or been stranded on any roadway due to a breakdown. Of all the dealers I have dealt with in Chicago, New York, Connecticut and Florida, my experience with Tempe Honda was the best experience I ever had getting a new car. Sidney Spence was terrific to work with and was a great listener. Ditto on the dealership manager (Steelers all the way) and head of finance (even if he was a 49'ers fan). I rate all three of them ten stars out of possible five! It was the fastest and easiest transaction of my 44-year romance with Honda. I know I got a better deal here because I spoke to reps at every other Honda dealership in Phoenix and none came close to the price and service of Tempe Honda. Worth driving from North Phoenix to find a dealer this good. Big Bonus -- lots of Steelers fans work here and, as a native western Pennsylvanian, I felt right at home with my new friends! Highly recommend the dealer and Sidney Spence. A "no pressure" sale was also great. PS Thankful Sidney explained the "Brake Hold" button to me - which I said I would never use. I stopped at Portillo's to get a grilled hot dog & fries on the way home and the drive-through line was so long I found out the Brake Hold is now one of my favorite new features. Had to eat my words along with the hot dog. More

Tempe Honda was conveniently located in a nice, modern and clean facility. The sales consultant and sales manager were excellent. We felt welcome and were treated with respect. Once we purchased the vehicle he took the time to go over everything so we left confident with driving what initially was an unfamiliar vehicle. Overall I thought we bought a great vehicle at a good price, and got fair value on our trade-in. More

One of the things I dread the most is buying a new car, mainly because of the behavior of the sales people. Not the case in this situation. It was very low pressure from start to finish. I had visited two other dealers before landing in Tempe Honda. Our sales guy, Sidney, was about as low key as you could find. We visited with him on a Thursday evening, test drive the car, asked some questions and then said we’d like to think about it. No attempt on the part of anyone at the dealership to keep us there and twist our arm to buy that night. None! The next day I got serious about making a decision. I visited one of the previous dealers who proceeded to pressure me into buying, but only after giving me a ridiculously high price for the car. That dealer told me lie after lie, including saying that the car we had driven at Tempe Honda was no longer available. I didn’t believe them. I left that dealership, called Tempe Honda and spoke to Sidney directly who told me the car was indeed still available. I then asked him to do something that no car dealer in the world seems willing to do. I asked him if he could quote me his best offer over the phone. He said, “sure, let me get back to you in a couple minutes” which he did. The price he gave me over the phone was thousands less than what the other dealer had quoted me. So I bought it from Tempe. When signing the papers the Finance manager explained all the optional warranty coverages that were available but never once tried to pressure me to take any of them. I was in and out of the place in about an hour’s time. It was a great experience. That’s something I would not say about 95% of dealers. On average I buy one car a year. In the last 14 months I bought 3 new ones including this on. This was my first experience with Tempe Honda. It won’t be my last. More
