I took it to David in the evening and he alreay had a rental car voucher waiting for me. They needed to keep my car for a few days. Unfortunately, my transmission needed to be replaced.I was very happy that I had the rental car so I could still go to work. I love David!! He always knows how to take care of his customers. Contacted them via internet about a new Odyssey. They stuck to their price, but of course took out the difference on the trade in. Do your research, check autotrader online for values on your trade, deduct some because they have to deal from there, figure about 4-5K profit for the dealer combined on the deals, and you should be pretty darn close to what it'll take out the door. Like all dealers, there is the upsell at paperwork time. If you plan on keeping the car, do the longest extended HONDACARE warranty you can (8yr/120K) as a minimum. It will vary car to car, but you should plan on about $2K. Other upsells are paint protection, interior protection, tire/rim protection, keyfob protection, lojack, and probably a few more I have forgotten already. Use your best judgement, and remember you can probably buy some of these after you leave the dealer, or some items may be covered by your car insurance anyway. Finally, don't buy any accessories unless you want the dealer to install them for you (you do get the full warranty applied to those parts then - so choose wisely). Things like wheel locks (must have) you can buy online for much less money. Final word on Tempe Honda - car buying is not fun. It's just not. They did make it less painless, and they were not your typical high pressure salesmen. In this day and age, don't put up with pushy car salesmen. Do your research, then go in to Tempe Honda and buy your car. I still have pushy salesmen calling from other dealers who I won't give the time of day due to their tactics. More
I recently went in to have my air conditioner in my 2004 Odyssey not working. Of course the day I took it in it worked perfectly fine. The air was cold and blowing great. In just a moment I decided kids and all to stop in while it wasn't working unannounced so he could listen or check something I was missing to explain. I was planning on bringing it back in at a better time...it was late and I had no appt. He asked if I had time and had them check it immediately. Found the issue and found the part. I was up and running with cold air in no time. David is ALWAYS so helpful!! He never makes you feel like an inconvenience. I know his day is busy but he will always find the time for me or you! He is the best!! More

My wife drove our 2009 Honda Pilot Touring at 9:45 on Friday 26 April 2011. She was greeted by VICTOR, a service advisor. He listened while my wife explained that there was a high pitched noise from the engine compartment when turning the steering wheel while driving down the road. Victor was courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable about our vehicle. He gave us his phone number and took our information. He said he would call and give us an update in about three hours. He did call and told us that the mechanic had identified the faulty component as a side seal in the power steering rack assembly. There was not one in stock at Tempe Honda but they had found one at another dealer and would obtain the assembly on Friday ----install same, road test and we could pick up our vehicle on Saturday. I feel that Victor stayed on top of the situation and kept us informed with several phone calls regarding the progress of the repairs. Victor is a real asset to your organization in my opinion. We were also impressed with ABDUL, a sales person, when we bought our Pilot in 2009 that we returned in 2011 and got us a Tango Red CRV. We are now a 2 car Honda family and doing good for a couple of 70's seniors More

Dan Wickham of Tempe Honda called me to tell me about incentives. He said he thought he could get me into a new Honda Accord (I had a 2008) for the same payment or less then what I was already paying. incentives. Dan got me into a 2011 Honda Accord with 7,400 miles for $10.00 over my current payment, no money down, and a great warranty. It was a bonus that the car was my favorite car color: charcoal gray. I definitely recommend the dealership and specifically Dan Wickham. More
