I'm a Chevy man and have been for many many years. I've had good Chevy dealers and not-so-good Chevy dealers over the years. Four years ago we (my daughter and I) found the Jeep of our dreams and began th had good Chevy dealers and not-so-good Chevy dealers over the years. Four years ago we (my daughter and I) found the Jeep of our dreams and began the service program at Tempe Dodge/Jeep to maintain it. We have been working with David Stanley for those four years now and I must say we have only had the very best of service from David and his family of service mechanics. Often we have had direct contact with the mechanics to get a first hand appraisal of the issues at hand. I'm a longtime classic car restorer and understand what the "details" mean. Everything has been explained to me in "english" and I feel no other dealer has, in fact, over the years better handled their service customers. I purchased my 2002 Dodge Stratus from Tempe Dodge and have never regretted it. David has been so kind as to answer questions and explain the repairs and let me know what I should be doing to keep my car running smoothly. I've had it 10 years now and it is still running smoothly. I can't thank David Stanley enough for his help through the years. I will continue to recommend Tempe Dodge and David Stanley for any kind of car care. I also want you to know, I drive all the way from San Tan Valley (36 miles one way) for this great service. When I call to schedule an appointment he tries his best to wor several years. It is a pleasure to work with David Stanley for my automotive needs. When I call to schedule an appointment he tries his best to work within my schedule. He carefully explains (in layman's terms) what the problem is and what must be done to fix it. If I don't understand things he clarifies them for me. The atmosphere at the dealership is warm and friendly. The parts people and cashiers are very accomodating. When the problem is diagnosed, I am given a price estimate and a time for completion, both of which are usually spot on. I have recommended and will continue to recommend this dealership to friends and relatives. More

I purchased my Dodge Ram 1500 new in '03 from Chapman Dodge in Scottsdale. I worked with their fleet sales department. They treated me well, and gave me a very fair price. However, for my service needs I chose to use a dealership in closer proximity to my home and work. I am quite fastidious about regularly servicing my truck, as I tend to hold on to vehicles for an extended period of time. I used Earnhardt Dodge for the first year or two, and suffice it to say that in the future I will not use them for either service purchase needs. For my service needs, I have used Tempe Dodge for a number of years now, and worked in particular with David Stanley to keep my truck well maintained. David has done an outstanding job of recommending service as needed. Moreover, David does a great job of not recommending service that does not need to be performed. I have never felt pressured by David, and have always felt like he was looking out for my best interests. With David, it is to the point where I almost don't have to say anything. He knows how I like to operate, he knows that I like everything checked when I bring my truck in, and he always follows through. David seems to appreciate the fact that I am striving to keep my truck in good running condition. Working with David is a pleasure; he always greets me personally, and makes sure I understand the whys and wherefores of the service he recommends. I consider David a friend of mine. The shuttle service the dealership provides is also quite convenient. I can drop off my truck in the morning, get a ride to work, and with very few exceptions, pick it up in the evening after work, ready to go. My truck is running great and I am very happy with it. Given my relationship with David, and my overall favorable impression of Tempe Dodge, I plan on making my next truck purchase with Tempe Dodge. More

David goes above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied with the service that I receive. I plan to buy a new vehicle from Tempe Dodge so that I am able to continue receiving services from David. If there was a way to rate this below zero I would... I had my front suspension upgraded last year(you would think they would realign the front end with this kind of work done) and as a result I woreout tw had my front suspension upgraded last year(you would think they would realign the front end with this kind of work done) and as a result I woreout two very expensive nonstock size tires as a result. The response was sorry hope we can make it up to next time your in. Really that was $500 out-of-pocket to me. This last service was a recall on the front suspension. I stopped in to have them check the part, which was defective and needed replaced. I was told the alignment rack was working so I left the truck and went to work. I got a call from Greg as I was in route to the dealership to tell me that the truck was done but no alignment was completed(8 hours later). Mike Purtle did not seem to care when I expressed my concern to him about the lack of communication between his advisors and myself. After gettin put in a rental that was falling apart and cost me out of pocket to drive I got my truck back 36 hours after I dropped it off for a 2 hour max repair. The steering wheel is not level and the part not replaced is so badly damaged from the tech Im not sure it is safe to leave on. They also rotated my tires and damaged my wheels. This all comes as I left Mike Bygogofly as voicemail on 3/14/12 and its now lunch time on 3/15/12, still no phone call back. I have tried him several times today and he will not answer his phone when I call. I can only say the southeast valley is really missing a good Dodge/Ram service center. If you need service seek another dealership!!! More
