Watch out for these guys, this place is a train wreck. First of all, let me start by saying I bought a RAM 1500 and love the truck, it's a great truck, this place though, not so much. When I bought my t First of all, let me start by saying I bought a RAM 1500 and love the truck, it's a great truck, this place though, not so much. When I bought my truck, I was looking for a night edition (all black) and they didn't have it. However, they offered to paint another one just like it to make it all black, sounded like a great idea and ended up being a little expensive for me, so I was cool with it. Bought the truck, it looked great, and I was very happy. Fast forward about 3-6 months and the paint starting chipping, which it's Arizona, it happens, right? Well, not exactly, then it started peeling, and chipping, and only in areas where they had done the after market painting. So I contacted my sales guy, he said ok, let me find out what we can do. After a few weeks and me hounding him, he got back to me and said, talk to the paint guy, here's the paint guys info. So I reach out the paint guy, and after a couple weeks we connect and I bring it in. Paint guy tells me well, they should have had a clear coat put on top of this, or even better, we should have got new factory parts, because I can repaint this, but it's just going to happen again. So I reach back out to the dealership, get the run around, my sales guy isn't there anymore, etc. Finally get a sales manager, he again sends me to the paint shop, says he talked to them and they'll make it right, and I follow-up with them, same answer. So I ask for the General Manager, they say he's not available, he's busy, etc. I show up at the dealership probably 4-5 times looking for him and finally after months (almost 18 months at this point) I'm told he's not here, but he'll be in tomorrow at 8AM. I show up at 830, and they say he's busy and he won't meet with me, front desk receptionist, has a crazy attitude with me and tells me, no, you'll be working with the sales manager on this. I'm like, I've already talked to him and he can't help me. Anyway, guys comes over, says he can't do anything for me says why are you back here, you have 3 options, get it repainted with paint guy, buy new parts or do nothing, but we're done here and we're not paying for any of it. Meanwhile I had already contacted RAM corporate who had explained that any work done by a third party that is contracted out by Tempe RAM, they are responsible for. I bring this to his attention and he gets combative and after another 2-3 minutes he tells me if I don't leave his store, he is going to call 911 and have me trespassed. Now keep in mind, I didn't raise my voice once, there were no other customers in the store and we're having a normal conversation, although he's clearly disturbed cause his voice is shaky and he's clearly on edge. So anyway, I was like OK, I'll work through corporate and my attorney and I walk out. Now keep in mind, I bought an $80K truck from them, it's a limited 1500 with all the options. And it looks awful, check out the pictures. But honestly, what dealership trespasses or threatens to trespass a customer who is trying to get an issue resolved? I've never in my life been threatened with being trespassed, that was wild. I am continuing to work with corporate to rectify it and a case has been opened against Tempe RAM. However, be aware, don't do business with these people, they're awful. However, if you are looking for a RAM Truck, they are great trucks, just buy from another dealership. Courtesy RAM in Superstition Springs is where I get mine serviced now and I love them, so give them a shout. Hope this helps others not get into a situation that I'm into with these awful people. The service staff here is very friendly and professional. They're honest and won't try to get you to spend extra money if your vehicle doesn't need it. They're honest and won't try to get you to spend extra money if your vehicle doesn't need it. More
I just had the worst customer service experience ever in my life buying a new truck from Tempe Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I test drove the truck on a Thursday evening and remarked that the truck did not seem ver my life buying a new truck from Tempe Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I test drove the truck on a Thursday evening and remarked that the truck did not seem very responsive when I pressed the gas pedal. The salesman Gabe assured me that it was only because the diesel engine needed time to warm up since it hadn't been driven that day. Then I remarked that the engine light and another light with a lightning bolt was on the dashboard. Again, he told me not to worry, that there was a part that was going to be installed the next day due to a recall notice on all of the 2022 Dodge RAM 2500 models and that it was not dangerous and would be taken care of. After lots of haggling, we settled on a high price and was not given any of the internet advertised discounts and we planned to come back Saturday morning to pick up the truck. We did, and after several more hours of waiting we were given the keys. As my husband began driving the truck home, not even 10 minutes later, the engine light and lightning bolt light came on again, so he turned around and drove back to the dealership. The dealership again told him not to worry, that the recall part had been installed the day before and that the engine light should turn off by itself. It did not, and the truck began to lose power and barely made it to the house. After multiple phone calls the dealership told us that they couldn't send a mobile mechanic out to fix it, that we would have to bring it in for service either there or elsewhere. They didn't care, and did not reply to any of our emails. There was also no promised, hey I'll call you in a few days to check on you guys to see how you're doing, because they already know that they sold us a faulty truck. We already had to cancel our plans to go camping that weekend, and had to risk driving a truck that loses power down to the closest dealership to our house, and we are still waiting for it to get fixed over a week later! After switching to Tempe Dodge Service Center from Tempe Ram Service, I feel alot better when taking my truck in for work. Craig listened to my concerns and addressed them completely. I thought it would tak Ram Service, I feel alot better when taking my truck in for work. Craig listened to my concerns and addressed them completely. I thought it would take 3-4 days to get the repair done due to parts and other factors and it actually only took 2 days. Best decision I made was to switch from the Ram service center to the Dodge location. More
