I had my 2022 Pacifica serviced and wanted to let you know that my advisor, Craig, as well as the entire service department exceeded expectations by a mile. Let me explain: The battery died. The van w know that my advisor, Craig, as well as the entire service department exceeded expectations by a mile. Let me explain: The battery died. The van was inoperable in the garage. I live in Gilbert, and called my usual dealer nearby, given it’s a warranty replacement, not to mention the complexities of the batteries this particular new vehicle. I explained the issue, that I did check it with a meter, and likely needed a simple replacement. The scheduler told me the soonest they could look at it was 2 weeks. Despite my willingness to be flexible, explaining that I couldn’t be without the van for that long and periodically jumping it wasn’t the best option, and practically begging to speak to someone else, they insisted they were booked solid, none of the advisors were available to talk, and to call a different dealer. Called the dealer in north Phoenix where we purchased it. Was told someone would call me. Still waiting on that callback over a week later. Another one said 3 weeks. Another one said next week, maybe, and I’d have to leave it for several days and get a loaner (rental) vehicle. I called Tempe Chrysler next, and was immediately put in touch with Craig. He listened, showed understanding of our situation, and shared our sense of urgency while explaining clearly the process of replacing the battery under warranty. He said he could have it done Friday (today) although unsure when it could be completed during the day. I almost fell over after all the other responses i had heard previously. He assured me we’d be taken care of (despite us never having been a customer there), and I was floored by the professionalism, expertise, and friendly nature. I dropped it off last night to allow more flexibility on his part as to when they could fit it in, expecting to pick it up in the late afternoon whenever they could get to it. It was barely 9am when he called me and told me it was finished. I couldn’t believe it. I mentioned to Craig when we picked it up this morning- you’ve won over a new customer. I will gladly drive the 17 miles for our future service needs. You were there when we needed help and not only delivered- but delivered fast. We were minimally inconvenienced for 24 hours versus limping along for 2 weeks or more. I know it’s just a battery replacement, but someone going the extra mile to fit us in at the last minute was a big deal. We are very grateful. More
