Tempe Dodge opened in the Tempe Autoplex in May 1993. We started with one basic philosophy …. to consistently exceed our customer’s expectations. Our customers have shown us great loyalty and support over the years, and because of them, we are now one of the largest Dodge dealerships in the entire USA. In May of 2008, we proudly added the Chrysler & Jeep brands to our lineup.. We feel that we are different from most dealerships. We do not believe in spending huge amounts of money on newspaper ads, or radio and television commercials each month like many of our competitors. That would raise our costs of doing business and we would have to pass those costs on to our customers. That would not be fair. Instead, we chose to build Tempe Dodge one relationship and one customer at a time. Because of this, a large part of our business each month is from repeat and referral customers. We truly feel that the sale of the vehicle is just the beginning, not the end. Thanks to our loyal customers, our Sales, Parts and Service Departments have grown steadily year after year. I checked my inbox for your email and for some reason, I did not receive it. If I had, I would have replied. My apologies. I had Bob forward me a copy of your email as well as the email he sent to you and although I am a very calm person by nature, I did get upset about not only the tone of his comments but specifically about his choice of words. I have spoken this morning to both Bob Kimsey and his manager, James Duet about what happened. I am certain that we will never have another incident like this again. I will also use this a an example of what not to do in our weekly sales meeting so that everyone gets the message loud and clear. I realize that even our most sincere apology cannot undo all the damage done by Bob's behavior, I hope that you and your wife will find a way to forgive our dealership for what transpired. Since we opened in 1993, we have tried to build our dealership on providing great customer service and unfortunately, we did just the opposite with you and your wife. I am glad that you were able to find a Jeep at another dealership. I don't know if you would be interested in giving us a chance to redeem ourselves or not, but I would like to offer you 3 free Lube, Oil & Filter changes in our Service Department. That way, you could meet some of our other 150 dedicated employees and hopefully form a different impression of our dealership. Please let me know your thoughts.
