I have been a customer of David Stanley & Tempe Dodge for 7 years now. David is an exceptional service man. When I come in for either regular maintenance or a repair, things are always done on time and a for 7 years now. David is an exceptional service man. When I come in for either regular maintenance or a repair, things are always done on time and at the quoted price. I appreciate David's style of service because he is very direct. Sadly, it has become increasingly hard to find direct people in service related industries these days, which is why I have trusted my second largest expenditure, my car, to David for over 7 years. He tells you what the problem is, what it should cost, and when he will get it done by, and, here is the important part, he stands by it and accomplishes it each time, every time. He doesn't attempt to sugar coat problems or get too technical to the point that the consumer (me) doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. It is always very business like, what needs to be done and why. Having a car serviced, lets face it, is not at the top of anyone's list of things they enjoy doing in their spare time. However, I look forward to seeing David for maintenance, his direct nature and friendly disposition even makes repairs (although no one likes when their car breaks down) as comfortable an experience as possible. But thanks to David's maintenance there have been very few repairs in over 7 years (knock on wood). In short, to me, David is not just a service man but a trusted advisor about the state of my vehicle. I would have a hard time trusting it to anyone else. He is friendly, direct, professional, & if he had a baby sitting service on the side I would let him watch my kids. We have had a good working relationship over the past 7 years and I look forward to many more. Andy Pongracz More
We located the car online and dealt with the Internet Sales Manager Rob. We arrived to drive the car and Rob was friendly and helpful. He told us that the car (a 2006 Sonata) had gone through a "50 Point Sales Manager Rob. We arrived to drive the car and Rob was friendly and helpful. He told us that the car (a 2006 Sonata) had gone through a "50 Point Inspection" and that their dealership was known for not selling sub-par cars. We returned the next day to buy the car. During the sales process we were also convinced to spend an extra $1,200 on an extended warrantee. At one point Rob even told us a story of how the owner of the dealership always "did the right thing" and he relayed a story about a couple who had bought a car that didn't make it home, and the owner had "made it right". Less than 4 hours after getting our car home we noticed that it was leaking oil. I contacted Rob and left him a message. The following day I again contacted Rob and left a message. 3 days after purchasing the car I called Rob again and this time he answered. I asked if any of those "points" on the "50 point inspection" had included actually lifting the car up and looking underneath. He assured me that the car did not leak oil when it was at the dealership, which would imply that either I was lying about the car leaking oil or that I had somehow damaged the car. He reminded me that I had bought the warranty and that the deductible was only $100 and that if I needed a car while mine was being repaired they would be more than happy to rent one to me. No thanks. I'll get the car fixed elsewhere and stay far away from Tempe Dodge... More
Jon Ladd really understood our needs as a family. We came in looking for a small SUV and he gently directed us toward a mini-van with much more room for us. Even though I've never considered myself a "mini-van mama," what he showed us really made sense and was the best fit for our family. He was able to get us a low mileage used vehicle at a very decent price. The process was relatively painless compared to other car buying experiences I have had in the past and the vehicle is a great vehicle for our family. I was also very impressed with their commitment to us after the sales process was officially over. After we had driven just a few miles from the lot we noticed there was something wrong with the brakes. Because it was late, we waited until the next day to call. They got us right in with an appointment at their service department, apologized for letting us drive off the lot with this known Dodge brake issue not having been dealt with, fixed the brakes as quickly as possible and didn't even ask for so much as a signature from me in exchange. I was so relieved that they didn't just say, "Hey, this was AS-IS," and send us on our way! More
David Stanley at Tempe Dodge has provided a decade of outstanding service to us. Although we did not purchase our "used" van from Tempe Dodge, we took it in to David for a complete check up before doing outstanding service to us. We were so impressed with his honesty we have kept coming back every time our Chrysler T&C or Dodge Grand Caravan needs service/repairs. He has provided excellent service, honesty in what repairs are required and timeliness in completing needed repairs. He has worked us in when repairs were an emergency and got us safely back on the road putting our minds at ease that the right repairs were completed. David is the Best!!! More
I purchased a 2006 Chrysler 300C from a private party in February of 2009. It had about 30 days left on the warranty. I took it to the dealership for a minor warranty issue which was quickly reolved. My car broke down at 2am on a road-trip back to Texas. I hobbled into the Tempe Dealership the next morning and they were full with appointments. I was stuck - family in a hotel and no easy way to get home. The service Adviser (Jerry Fischer) was able to work my car into the days plan and fix the car. Mike Gardner isolated the problem (main bearing failure inside alternator). He had it changed out in 90 minutes. I was back on the road before lunch. Jerry could have said we're busy, go somewhere else - he didn't and that saved me lots of time and money in hotel bills. I have 17 years working in customer support for Boeing and I know how it's supposed to be - these guys saved the day - a great customer experience! More
Steve was freindly and we appreciated his honesty. We do not like high pressure sales, which was still present; however, Steve attempted explain the dealers views in an appropriate manner.
