I had been having trouble with my car, and knew that I I had been having trouble with my car, and knew that I would be in for at least $1300 in mechanic repairs, so after a decade of having the same c I had been having trouble with my car, and knew that I would be in for at least $1300 in mechanic repairs, so after a decade of having the same car, and having wanted something with considerably more interior space, I went to Tempe Dodge / Kia on a whim, half serious, and somewhat on the fence about buying a new vehicle. I knew that if it wasn't time for a new car now, it would be very soon, and I already knew which car I had in mind: a 2013 Kia Soul. I read the reviews, and knew it was the right car for my needs both as a family man, and a musician; something that I could use to drive my family around safely and comfortably, drive clients around, and also be able to lug my guitars and amp around. That said, when I went to Tempe Dodge / Kia, I went with no commitment to myself to buy a vehicle. When I arrived, A silver 2013 Kia Soul was sitting there, and I was greeted by Barry just as I was gravitating toward the car. We took the car for a test drive, and I like how it felt as much as how it looked, so we discussed the price when we returned to the desk. It was a little higher than I had hoped to pay monthly, but Barry was an aggressive salesman, because in order to be a salesman, one must be aggressive. Mind you, I don't mean to say he was abrasive in his approach. He was more encouraging, in that he understood my trepidation, as with any potential car buyer, about making this commitment that will directly affect the next 10+ years of my life. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle in question, and was also understanding that, ultimately the final say in the decision wasn't mine, but my wife's, and he would respect that if she said no, that this would be the end of the transaction. As I said, I flew in on the breeze only half serious about buying the car, with no money to put down other than a trade-in that was barely worth the sum of it's parts, and my wife knew I would be in the market soon, but not as quickly as all this. Nonetheless, my wife gave me her blessing to proceed with the purchase, and I did so with more confidence, now that she was permitting me to proceed to Barry's side of the fence. Ultimately, would I have paid less for my vehicle? Yes. I don't know anyone who would say otherwise. But the key element that determined whether or not this was a good experience (aside from Barry helping me to set up my car, talk me through the features, and pair my phone to the on-board blue tooth) is simply that gut feeling you get when you are driving off the lot in your new car to which you just committed a chunk of your monthly salary for the next six years. I left that lot with peace of mind, the key element to a transaction well executed. More

Mr Collins was very helpful on the phone this morning and pleasant to work with. He answered all of my questions and had my name on the company computer and the vehicles we were interested looking at located pleasant to work with.
