Dissatisfied customer of over 25 years. Went in to have a tire warning light check on my 2021 highlander. I was denied service, since I did not purchase a "tire extended warranty". Warranty work is not of value, I sent an email to Toyota Motor Co. and also the Service Department manager Gregory Curtis in December and to this date no one has responded. I have taken multiple cars for service over the past 25 years and it feels like the customer service has went downhill. I would like to take my car to a local dealership for service, at this point I am reluctant because if it's warranty work we may denied service. I just wanted reassurance if I was safe to drive to a tire shop as I was told from the service department assistant manager(Patrick S.) to take my highlander. More
I Want to first Mention Gilbert "GIL" Schoonover. I have been shopping for cars for over a month. I decided on a Mini Cooper S to tow behind my Diesel Pusher Motor home on a Tow Dolly. I looked at a lot o been shopping for cars for over a month. I decided on a Mini Cooper S to tow behind my Diesel Pusher Motor home on a Tow Dolly. I looked at a lot of Cars that were supposedly good deals. Then they hit you with the Dealer ADD ON. I went from Dirt Lot Dealers to the Big Name Dealers such as Temecula Valley Toyota. When I saw the AD I was like this Car is great but there is no way they are going to Sell this car with out some sort of $3000 Dealer add on for something I don't want. I called up "GIL" Several times about this car cause I was burnt out from all of these so called good car Dealers telling me Their Song and Dance and then I get Disappointed. Every time I called Gil his story was the same Just come on down take a look at it. We have no Dealer Add-Ons I promise. So Finally my Wife and I went there to go see the car He had another Client he was finishing up he had someone assist us who I gave him my Driver License so I can take it for a test Drive. The Car was Amazing!!! It met all the boxes I wanted in a small car and it was a Thrill to Drive!!!! Really!!!! When I got back from Driving the Car Gil was there to meet us. We wanted to know what I thought. I love the Car!!!! Now I am waiting for the Hammer to fall and say that it has $3000 for a dealer add for 3m door protector or something like that. He didn't say a word. I asked Gil so what is the Real price. He sat me down and we went over the number. To my Pleasant Surprise there was no Dealer Ad on. I was Thrilled. Plus keep in mind the price of the car was at the Fair Market Kelly Blue Book value. So there was not price gouge like what you are getting elsewhere. They are very fair on their prices. Gil Then took us to see Reginald Dickerson the Finance Manager. He was Very Thorough. He explained all the paper work in great detail. Let me tell you I have Purchased a lot of cars in the past and no one and I repeat no one is as detailed as Reginald is. I let him know I am not buying the Extended Warranty. Honestly the car is more for Fun then anything and I currently owner 7 other vehicles so I have no need it. He total understood and left it at that. Wow. Reginald gets me!!! That is awesome. I have so much Respect for These Two men it is crazy how much. They know exactly what they are doing. Listen to the customer and the Customer!!! How Awesome is that? I just recently moved to the Area and I look forward to have a Long Term Relationship with Temecula Valley Toyota!!!! P.S. One of the Vehicles I have is a 1988 Toyota Landcruiser with over 320,000 miles on it and it keeps going!!!! More
