Received an email for a coupon “oil change 45 mins or less or it’s free” when i showed it to Alex he brushed it off and said “they should ask us first” he had not been wearing a mask either which is mand less or it’s free” when i showed it to Alex he brushed it off and said “they should ask us first” he had not been wearing a mask either which is mandated by the county. While he was checking me in he said the whole service would take 45mins to an hour. I again showed him the coupon and he’s like okay. Over an hour went by and i had not received a call so i contacted them service department and a lady answered the phone i asked for the status of the vehicle as well as clarification about the coupon her response “ well we’ve cut people and with everything going on in the world we can’t honor it” i advises her i had received the email on Friday in which it references what they’re doing during Covid-19. I spoke with the service advisor who stated they found a wood chip in my tire so it’ll be another 15 minutes. Another hour went by and i went to the dealer only to find my car sitting parked and yet no call. Alex came out when he saw me and when we went inside he totaled it out to $35 i asked, are you guys not honoring the coupon and he got defensive and said “i patched your tire at no charge i thought i was doing you a favor” i asked if that was a safety precaution and typically free he said “but but it’s fine I’ll give you the free oil change i just thought again i was doing you a favor” my thing is why have promotions if the service department won’t honor them or get upset. I told Alex he never called me once the oil change was done to tell me about my tire issue, he never kept me updated. More
I came in for a minor leak and Alex helped me out by calling to see if my warranty was still in effect. It was, however, they never called him back for the okay so he helped me out and just fixed my car calling to see if my warranty was still in effect.
