Beware of unlisted fees, false advertising and deception Yesterday I bought a little used Nissan Versa from Temecula Nissan and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. After waiting around over 45 minutes for them to "cut a new key" (they were probably installing the security system... read on) I was taken into the finance office to fill out all the paperwork. When looking over the line items for the options I see this $995 option for an alarm system. I say "what is that!? I don't want that." ... "Well sir it's already installed on the car and we can't take it off. And the bank won't finance you without it, so you have to take it." I also asked why, if the security system was pre-installed, that it wasn't included in the listed price of the car and was instead an add-on. They said California State law wouldn't let them advertise that it was, that it was previously installed, and blah blah blah. I should have walked away right there, but honestly I need a car and was sick of not having one and was invested in the process at that point. They oh so graciously took a whopping $200 off the price of the security system and we went forward. Now for the positives (because I feel that every review should be balanced, right?) The salespeople I dealt with were cordial. Ameer, in particular, seems like a great guy and it was a pleasure working with him. He either had no idea of the crap they were about to pull or he is a spectacular liar (salesman?). The Finance woman, Kayla, *seemed* similarly nice, although she was most certainly in on it as the add-ons are her department. Bottom line, in the light of the next morning, I feel taken advantage of. I'm happy to finally have a car again, but I'm sorry I didn't take my time with things and let a shady practice get the better of me. I'm going to be calling a lawyer just in case I have a recourse to get my $800 back. I probably don't though. Don't buy from this dealership, whatever you do, unless you want a new Nissan and they're the only Nissan dealer for 200 miles. More

Hope this allowed if not please delete but I want to warn people about dealing with Temecula Nissan..... If I could give a negative rating I would. Temecula Nissan is horrible to deal with. Purchased a used car on 7/20/2018 within 6 hours the engine oil light comes and so does a notice stating the car needs an oil change. Mind you even though it’s a used 2015 car it has a warranty provided by Temecula Nissan. By the time it all came on they had closed for the night. We took the car in as soon as they opened on 7/21/1018, Chris Navarrete (used car sales manager) takes the car from us and says he is gonna have the service department look at it and fix it. Gives us the car back with the lights off, drive the car and by that evening everything is on again, make another trip on 7/22/2018, Chris takes the car again does the same thing and gives it to us again promising it is fixed, drive away again and the damm thing is on again, 7/23/2018 take it back in again, same thing all over again, and yes the light comes on again so this is now the 4th time we have taken it for the same problem. 7/24/2018 take the car in again and they have the car for 8 days, receive a phone on 8/2/2018 stating the car is finally fixed and to come pick it up. Well get in the car drive away 15 minutes down the road the engine oil light is on again and still stating it needs an oil change, turn around and give the car back. Find out that it has a recall for a service campaign for a emission issue that they failed to fix and sold the car with repairs needed. I want them to buy the car back based of the used car lemon law and Mo Atiya (sales manager) and Mark Andary (GM) have now completely changed the story said the car was never brought in and checked into the service department on the 7/21, 7/22, or 7/23 and that Chris was only ever taking the car around the corner and turning the needs an oil change notification off along with the engine oil light. He was NEVER even attempting to fix the issue. So we have owned the car since 7/20/2018 and have had the car in our possession about 12 hours. They are very unprofessional, could careless about taking care of the customer, or fixing the problem which is covered under warranty. So after 5 attempts still no car, and the car sits with the engine oil light on and still reads needs an oil change along with the recall for the service campaign that states repairs are needed. Please don’t buy from them they are HORRIBLE!! #temeculanissan More
Great customer service, less than perfect transaction I'll start this off by saying buying a car is never fun. Picking out the perfect vehicle, test driving, negotiating and then the dreaded "finance guy" I'll start this off by saying buying a car is never fun. Picking out the perfect vehicle, test driving, negotiating and then the dreaded "finance guy" at the end. It's a long, tiring, mentally taxing process leaving you excited and terrified at the end. My experience at Temecula Nissan was decent but there were definitely snags. We'll start with my sales guy Josue. Beginning to end he was very pleasant, not high pressure, and provided incredible customer service. If I were to stop here I would give 5 stars without hesitation. Of course the car buying transaction is broken into three main parts, salesperson, vehicle and finance. This is where things become less than perfect and I want to say for the record I'm artificially weighting Josue's piece to make 4 stars. If I were weighting things evenly I'd probably say it was 3.5 stars. Why did I give him more weight? Because the vehicle was less than perfect and the after service didn't go as planned. It was Josue that made this bearable by going the extra mile. He was pleasant and accommodating throughout the entire process. The vehicle was a slightly abused Nissan Maxima Platinum edition. Someone had smoked inside and clearly (in hindsight) didn't take terribly good care of the paint. The car was otherwise in good condition with low miles and had everything I was looking for, which is why I considered it. Josue offered to have the smoke smell and a couple door dings removed and it was written into my contract. On the day I took it in for this service I was expecting 3 hours (which is what Josue thought it would take) only to find out it needed to stay overnight. They provided me with a loaner Maxima and Josue offered to drive my Maxima back to me (45 miles away) the next day for my troubles. The car was delivered the next day as promised with 0 smoke smell, fresh and clean. Not artificially masked. Unfortunately the door dings (apparently) couldn't be removed. There was trouble in finance (isn't there always) as they thought they would be able to get me a substantially lower interest rate so I signed the contract with that interest rate in mind. Unfortunately they weren't able to go as low as they had hoped (but lower than what I myself got pre-approved for) so Josue (again) drove the new contract down to be signed. The payment quoted was correct and without the finance guy to explain the charges I signed the agreement. They mailed my copy to me and the problem with signing paperwork away from the dealer became apparent. There was a charge for cancelation (which I signed I didn't want and wasn't present on the first contract) of $417. But, I had already signed the new agreement (my fault for not dealing directly with finance). The car, well there has clearly been rear bumper damage (clean carfax) as there is a very dull large spot on my bumper that didn't show up when I bought the car (maybe it had a good wax job) and the paint is pretty scratched up (black car) which also didn't show up until I washed it. Most of this can be buffed out and the bumper repaired but definitely a fair amount of work for a certified used car. Long story short, pay attention to every detail with this dealer. My experience could have been isolated but just food for thought. I will say this, they were very pleasant to deal with and they did do (most) of what they promised. Josue 6 stars, car 3 stars, finance 3 stars. More

Buying parts they took off Had an oil change done on my Titan and didn’t realize that they never put the skid plate back on till the next time I changed my oil. Was told that I Had an oil change done on my Titan and didn’t realize that they never put the skid plate back on till the next time I changed my oil. Was told that I could buy a new one for $371.04 and they would install it free of change. I asked why should I buy a replacement when your technician should have put it back on after the service was done. Service manager wouldn’t even talk to me about it. Calling Nissan North America to file a complaint. More
They do not respect people and make fun of them I received a prize notification letter which had said I won something and asked me to act as soon as possible. I contacted the Nissan Temecula custome I received a prize notification letter which had said I won something and asked me to act as soon as possible. I contacted the Nissan Temecula customer service and they conect me to sale department I explained the letter and I told them If it is real or joke!! They said it is real and I can go for my prize so we went from my home in Menifee ca to Temecula nissan. When we got there we talked to one of the sales agent and he took my letter and said yes you won Grocery cart tote bag. The cheapest possible prize they had. He went in the room and come back with a spinner and said I am so sorry we do not have that Gorocery bag anymore so this prize for your little one. It was some sort of real joke. I contacted them before and they said you won and when we went there first they offered the cheapest prize from their list after 2 minutes they said they do not have even that cheapest prize from their list and they gave my girl a $1 spinner toy. it was really shame for that company who waste people time and make fun of people. I do not recommend the Nissan Temecula at all to others. As they do not respect people. More
