I completed the survey very truthfully; however, it was very negative. A couple days later Gerald called, verbally attacking me on several levels because of the review. Not only did Shane & Gerald demonstrate dishonest, deceitful, disrespectful and inconsiderate behavior toward us as customers, it was carried further with Gerald's phone harassment. I explained to Gerald if they expected glowing reviews they should clean up their sales/work ethics or be more selective as to whom they send such surveys. As one can tell from reading the majority of posted reviews, the type of poor professional behavior this dealership demonstrates will always come back to bite them in the rear. I urge all perspective buyers to thoroughly research the dealership and it's practices as much as they do the vehicle. My major concern now is; how will we be received by the dealership IF or WHEN we have to use the $2,400, 6 year, bumper to bumper warranty that we unknowingly purchased. More

Well I stopped at this Nissan Dealership due to a sign that was seen from the interstate. They were doing the ( if it drives it is worth 5.500.00). Well just let me tell you. This is so not a good deal because I had looked at the same Rogue at the Nissan Dealership in Cookville and this Nissan in Knoxville had jacked up their prices by 3 to 4 thousand dollars. And after telling them the only deal I would be willing to do, they kept pushing and pushing for me to do something total different. Well If you want a Nissan and want to work with someone that is willing to go that extra mile to help you check out the Cookville Nissan. The guy I have been working with has been awesome. More

I was told there were 2 types of tuneups one for cars with plate that had to be removed to get to spark plugs other type no plate had to be removed. I was told my was the later & was quoted a price of $188 plus tax. When I got there for service I was told I had the other kind & it would cost over $250 plus tax. They weren't going to stick to the original quote so I didn't get done there. They will never get another cent from me. Bob B. More

I myself have been trading vehicles since 1999 and in that time I've had some good experiences but none tops this dealership in that whole time. Done most of the leg work over the phone and when time came to purchase they went above and beyond what I've saw in the past. Great people, from the owner Gerald all the way to the window cleaners. Warren is the most honest car salesman I've ever had. More

out of control sales manager. Very rude sales tactics. I tried to be honest with my salesman and gave him the absolute highest number I would pay for the vehicle we were in Very rude sales tactics. I tried to be honest with my salesman and gave him the absolute highest number I would pay for the vehicle we were interested in. I also explained the payoff amount for our car, and told him before we went in the door that I would not go upside down on my trade. I told him if he would do that we could go in and work a deal. He was pleased with that. After going in he took our keys and drivers license. He made up the offer as we discussed and then proceeded to the sales manager. His return offer was 1000.00 below my asking for my car and he did not budge on the price of his. I explained that I would not change my number. I told them to begin with that it was the absolute highest I would go. I was honest with that number and that I understood that if they cannot match it, I would be glad to take my car and go home. After this we had a lengthy discussion about the value of each car. He accused me of trying to get wholesale for his and retail for mine. I informed him that I had checked the values on KBB and that I had offered him high retail for his and that he was correct that I was asking for more that KBB trade in value for mine. I then told him that I was more than willing to understand that they could not meet that offer for mine and that I would take it a learning experience and go home. I told him that I would just need for him to bring me my Keys and my driver’s license and I would go and leave as friends. He continued to push me to change my number. Again, I told him that I would not go above the number I offered for their car. I again asked for my keys and my driver’s license. Still he pressured me to reconsider my offer. This went on for what seemed several minutes. I explained that I would not buy any car for more than that number. And that I did not feel cars are worth the high numbers they get for them now. I told him I had learned valuable lessons and that I would like my keys and license back. Then I said “have asked three time for them back nicely and that I wouldn't do it again” He then proceeded to the sales manager to get my keys. My wife and I followed and when we approached the desk. The sales manager immediately changed the price by 2000.00 and then said how about that. The number was still not what I offered so I told him no. It is not what I offered and that I did not know what they had in their car and that if they cannot match that, I was ok with it. I just want my keys and license. They finally gave me my keys and started insulting my car. I then asked for my license and proceeded to the door. The sales manager. Don't know his name. Followed us to our car and knocked of the window of our car and said OK I will give you the numbers you asked for. I told him, “now all you have done is show you were being dishonest". He lost it at that point called me a Liar and said I never meant to buy the car anyway. I told him not to get personal with me. He continued to call me a liar and insult myself and my car. Saying that if I have that kind of money I should fix my car. It needs a daytime running light!! He got so rude I stepped out of my car and told him that if he wanted to get personal to do it to my face. He then started waving his folder in my face. I slapped the folder away from him. He then told me to leave and I invited him to move me. He just stood there and continued to make noise like a 12 year old. And said that if he had gotten physical with me that I would not have like it. Oh this was after we were back in the car and backing out. I guess threatening the customers is ok at Ted Russell Nissan. I hope that if this gets read, the management would understand that I tried to be honest from the moment I spoke with my salesman. The sales manager is out of control. Very rude and without a doubt the reason this facility has such a low review rating on line. Also I would like to know why he would not give the forums with all our personal data on them. Please call me at the number provided for further questions. More
Snake oil salesman I can to this site to see if anybody else had a similar experience. I am surprised to see that my experience does not seem to be uncommon. After negot I can to this site to see if anybody else had a similar experience. I am surprised to see that my experience does not seem to be uncommon. After negotiating a price on a car we went to the dealership to purchase the car. Over an hour into the paperwork process, the sales manager came in to say that the price quoted was a mistake and they needed to had 3k to the final price. I believe the bait and switch is against the law. I would not recommend this dealership. More
Terrible experience all around Purchased a new Altima in '14. Finance manager who could barely communicate in English assured us multiple times he knew how to calculate and pay our Purchased a new Altima in '14. Finance manager who could barely communicate in English assured us multiple times he knew how to calculate and pay our taxes and to transfer a tag. Dealership charged twice the actual amount and would have kept it if we didn't catch it. Caught it because they didn't even pay the taxes or file the paperwork, and the state sent us a letter saying the vehicle isn't legal to drive. Took many hours of our personal time to fix this on our own after dealership charged us a document fee for doing it. Two years later, transmission is faulty and needs to be replaced because vehicle shuts off at stop lights. Returned to dealership because they sold my wife a scam warranty that's supposed to cover such issues that are obviously no fault of our own. Vehicle's computer doesn't send the "correct code" to replace transmission, although service department is sure it needs to be replaced. No rental vehicle was provided, even though it will take weeks to fix and we live over two hours from Ted Russell Nissan. Service drives vehicle and suggests my wife come get the car and drive it when it randomly turns off, making it seriously dangerous to drive. Worst experience imaginable with all aspects of this vehicle purchase. Will likely have to get an attorney involved to make this right...Sales manager drives up in his $100k sports car and brags about how much his payment is. My advice: stay clear of Ted Russell Nissan unless you're comfortable making these arrogant scammers more money. As a lending officer, this is the type of dealership we do not allow our clients to buy from. More
