Plain and Simple their numbers don't add up. In the room with the Finance Guy- they are flat out dishonest to the point it's insulting. They tried to screw me out of my trade in altogether. The Con runs deep so know your numbers before you get there. Worst part is it looks like their standard way of operating because I went through the same hassle with my mother attempting to purchase a Maxima. We are loyal to Nissan to a fault- but I will no longer step foot in any business owned by Ted Russell. More
Our overall experience at Ted Russel's was a very positive one. My husband and I never felt coerced or pressured. They allowed us the privacy to discuss and review all the information that was given us regarding our pending purchase. They worked with us until we were satisfied that our needs were met and was able to leave with a beautiful new car at the price that fit our budget. We recently purchased a vehicle from Ted Russell Nissan in Knoxville, Tennessee. The following week there was a call from the finance person. They had given my husband the wrong contract. The person said s in Knoxville, Tennessee. The following week there was a call from the finance person. They had given my husband the wrong contract. The person said she was new and had pulled out a contract they no longer use. Being a former Realtor and familiar with contracts this seemed odd and unnecessary. I even questioned the purpose of needing a new contract and why we were not amending the original contract; however, my husband went in and signed this new contract careful to make sure they had not changed any of the terms. (This *new* contract was dated, not for the day he actually signed the contract by the way, but the date was from the prior week.) Shortly after leaving the dealership, the same person from the finance office called again. She said, “We are sorry Mr. ______, but we just realized we made another mistake on the contract. The amount was too low. You actually need to pay us more money. You need to come in so that we can redo the contract. I believe this is called Bait and Switch. Let me add that in the past 10 years we have purchased 4 new Nissans. We have always been loyal to the brand. No longer based on this experience. We returned the car even though we had a legally binding contract because we were being harassed by the dealership. This was an unpleasant experience that has really made me see car purchasing in a different light. Tread carefully with these people. More

Awesome experience from the start! Allan was the first person I met. I almost ran him over trying to get in the parking lot! I told him i wanted an Xterra and he immediately told me about all the great de person I met. I almost ran him over trying to get in the parking lot! I told him i wanted an Xterra and he immediately told me about all the great deals available. He showed me two vehicles in the show room. When we took a test drive he was very excited about the Xterra and told me about the vehicle, its reliability, and all of the safety features that Nissan has as standard features. I was so impressed that Nissan cares so much about customer safety! He never pressured me. In fact, he made a point explain that he wanted this to be a stress free experience. He added that at any point I felt overwhelmed or apprehensive that I could take a break even if it meant thinking this over until a later date. That really impressed me and I knew then and there i was going to buy a vehicle from him. I respected his honest and I felt he cared about me as a customer. I believed he wasn't just trying to "strong arm me" into buying a car. Anita was excellent in advising me about my best options for financing my Xterra. She explained everything thoroughly and even gave me some great advice in general. She is very personable and made me feel like I was talking to a friend. Daniel was very knowledgeable about my Xterra and all of its features. I bought the super deluxe version and he made sure I knew how to operate everything. Daniel was also extremely friendly and always upbeat when explaining the Xterra's nuances. Lastly, Mr. Powers gave me some of his own spiced cider and helped me make it in the brewing machine. He didn't need to even acknowledge me really because I wasn't his customer. He had nothing to gain by being accommodating to me, but he extended himself. I was not only appreciative, but impressed. My expectations were exceeded during this experience from beginning to end. I will never shop anywhere else! Consider me a customer for life! I'm sure it goes without saying, but i will recommend your company to everyone I meet. More

RJ was great to work, very helpful and quick to respond to questions. When the deal was being signed, the Juke I picked out was being picked up at another dealership and they found out at the last minute to questions.
