Dear Readers and Reviewers, In response to this post, We would like to shed light on the reasons behind our refusal of service. This customer came to our dealership a year ago with a service issue and was met with the maximum level of customer care as there were two of our service advisors as well as two of our technicians involved in diagnosing the issue. When it was discovered that this customer was the cause of the issue, we explained how he could avoid the problem all together and that there was nothing more we could do for him at that time. Upon hearing our diagnosis he became very irrational and angry. He proceeded to peel out of our service drive leaving tread marks throughout the parking lot and nearly hit several vehicles on his way out. After that, he sped back into the service drive screaming profanity and threatening to harm employees. We here at Ted Russell have a ZERO tolerance policy pertaining to behavior such as this. While we openly accept complaints, comments, and concerns, We reserve the right to refuse any form of service to anyone not willing uphold proper business posture. Dear Readers and Reviewers, We are replying to an earlier review of Ted Russell Nissan given by Spitfire2. Spitfire2 accuses Ted Russell Nissan of a bait and switch. This is very far from the truth. Spitfire2 was purchasing a vehicle from us and our Manager had worked out all the numbers with Spitfire2 and agreed upon a price. When Spitfire2 went to sign the paperwork with our Finance Manager, the rebate money was inadvertently taken off the agreed upon price thus lowering the agreed upon price. Spitfire2 admitted to knowing the price was lower than he and the Sales Manager had agreed upon and refused to sign a corrected retail sales contract with the corrected agreed upon price. We of course could not actually do the deal with the numbers being incorrect. We explained to Spitfire2 that he would have to return and resign the contract. Spitfire2 did not do the honorable thing and resign the paperwork. Spitfire2 said we made the mistake and he was going to take advantage of the mistake, therefore demonstrating to us he was not a person of character or integrity. We attempted several times to have Spitfire2 return and resign the paperwork but he refused. Ultimately, we had to pick up our vehicle. It is unfortunate this mistake was made but we are all humans and make mistakes.
