Our salesman, Ben, is genuinely friendly and does not use high pressure tactics. We did not want a lot of the higher model options, and we were shown right to the model that had what we wanted (2013 Altima high pressure tactics. The finance mgr, Gary, moved our paperwork right along, but also took the time to explain options to me that I generally don't get (extended warrenty). Daniel Lee went over our delivery and encouraged us to call him with any questions or problems. We came in to take the Altima for a test drive and were able to decide/buy/and leave with the car all in the same night. More
I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Shannon Casey in Ted Russell Nissan's Service Department. He always takes the best care of my husband and I when we come in...and is the reason I drive past the N in Ted Russell Nissan's Service Department. He always takes the best care of my husband and I when we come in...and is the reason I drive past the Nissan dealer at the airport from Maryville to service my Maxima. He always explains what is going on with my car without making me feel stupid since I do not know much about cars. His genuine and down to Earth personality makes me feel so comfortable to come in without my husband for service. So the here is the other reason for this post. My check engine light came on my car and I gave Shannon a call. He got me in on the same day and found out my car had an internal oil leak. This freaked me out since we were headed to Florida soon for vacation. Shannon assured me that he would be able to get my car fixed for me before we had to leave....and he did just that. I was worried I would have to rent a car for my family to go on vacation but that did not happen. He got it fixed correctly and as usual my visit in and out was painless. This meant so much to me and my family. So a big thank you to Shannon and all the rest of Ted Russell Nissan's Service Department for going above and beyond getting our car ready for our summer vacation. Thanks again as always!!!! More

Unfortunately This particular Service Director is receiving a well earned negative review based upon his decision to refuse any type of service on a new Nissan purchased at Ted Russell Nissan. Plain and Simple their numbers don't add up. In the room with the Finance Guy- they are flat out dishonest to the point it's insulting. They tried to screw me out of my trade in altogether. The Con runs deep so know your numbers before you get there. Worst part is it looks like their standard way of operating because I went through the same hassle with my mother attempting to purchase a Maxima. We are loyal to Nissan to a fault- but I will no longer step foot in any business owned by Ted Russell. More
Our overall experience at Ted Russel's was a very positive one. My husband and I never felt coerced or pressured. They allowed us the privacy to discuss and review all the information that was given us regarding our pending purchase. They worked with us until we were satisfied that our needs were met and was able to leave with a beautiful new car at the price that fit our budget. We would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a great vehicle at the best possible price. More
We recently purchased a vehicle from Ted Russell Nissan in Knoxville, Tennessee. The following week there was a call from the finance person. They had given my husband the wrong contract. The person said she was new and had pulled out a contract they no longer use. Being a former Realtor and familiar with contracts this seemed odd and unnecessary. I even questioned the purpose of needing a new contract and why we were not amending the original contract; however, my husband went in and signed this new contract careful to make sure they had not changed any of the terms. (This *new* contract was dated, not for the day he actually signed the contract by the way, but the date was from the prior week.) Shortly after leaving the dealership, the same person from the finance office called again. She said, “We are sorry Mr. ______, but we just realized we made another mistake on the contract. The amount was too low. You actually need to pay us more money. You need to come in so that we can redo the contract. I believe this is called Bait and Switch. Let me add that in the past 10 years we have purchased 4 new Nissans. We have always been loyal to the brand. No longer based on this experience. We returned the car even though we had a legally binding contract because we were being harassed by the dealership. This was an unpleasant experience that has really made me see car purchasing in a different light. Tread carefully with these people. More
