In Dec '21 I was able to get an appt in 2 days to check out the a/c in my NEW '21 Explorer that had not worked since purchase in Nov '21 at Lenoir City Ford. LC Ford would not work on the vehicle due to 6 out the a/c in my NEW '21 Explorer that had not worked since purchase in Nov '21 at Lenoir City Ford. LC Ford would not work on the vehicle due to 60 day service backlog. After trying for a month to get LC Ford to check the vehicle a/c (and then repair it), I called Ted Russell Ford and got an appt in 2 days. When I arrived for my appt on 23 Dec. I was rec'd at service by Randy Turner and he gladly put the vehicle in the TRF shop. In 2 hours they found the problem and had it repaired. The Ford assembly factory forgot to charge the a/c with freon, but thanks to Ted Russell Ford it works great now. More
02 Oct 2021 took my Lincoln MKZ in to sell to Ted Russell. I was told it may take up to 31 days to get the title before I would get my money. It has now been 60 days and I haven't been paid. Ted Russell tells me they are having difficulty getting the title. NOT MY PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS BEEN SOLD so Ted Russell received payment. WHY CAN'T I GET MY MONEY? HOW DID THEY SELL THE CAR WITHOUT A TITLE? I HAVE TRIED CALLING THEM. THEY DO NOT RETURN MY CALL. I AM A DISABLED SENIOR AND I FEEL THEY ARE SCAMMING ME. I MAY HAVE TO TRY OTHER LEGAL MEANS TO GET MY MONEY. It's not an amount I can walk away from. If anyone can offer advice please let me know. More
i wrecked my truck yesterday and i came in today to find a 5-10 thousand dollar truck i can buy cash which is reasonable in todays market. joe showed me a kia optima which i didnt even ask for. i asked for a 5-10 thousand dollar truck i can buy cash which is reasonable in todays market. joe showed me a kia optima which i didnt even ask for. i asked for a truck. he made me come inside and sit secluded away from everyone like i was an outcast. he than showed me a 26 thousand dollar truck and was talking about financing. he didnt even listen to me when i said i wanted a 5-10 thousand dollar truck. when i told him im leaving he forced me to stay and got his manager named nick to come manipulate me but his name should have been dick because he was trying to pressure me to buy the 26 thousand dollar truck that i didnt want. HORRIBLE SERVICE 0/10 would not reccomend. in fact i would go out of my way to tell people not to go there More

I went to Ted Russell Ford on Kingston Pike after receiving multiple quotes from other dealerships about trading in my truck. Mary Lynn was awesome to work with. She was fast, efficient, patient, receiving multiple quotes from other dealerships about trading in my truck. Mary Lynn was awesome to work with. She was fast, efficient, patient, and very knowledgeable. She was able to get me a better quote, and into a newer f150 that met all my requirements, and still come in under my requested budget. received an email that the general manager wanted to buy back the ford ecosport tat i had purchased there 2+ years ago. i set up an appointment and visited and spoke to a saleswoman tanya about trading up back the ford ecosport tat i had purchased there 2+ years ago. i set up an appointment and visited and spoke to a saleswoman tanya about trading up to a 2020 ford escape. filled out credit forms and was told she would get back with me. have received no call back, no email, no text. while i realize with our credit that chances were slim but i at least epected some type of contact. with this experience i will not be considering ted russell for a vehicle in the future More
I visited this dealership service station to get my car checked out I paid for a full diagnostic and that’s when I was told that my transmission needed to be replaced. I was told my vehicle was not holding checked out I paid for a full diagnostic and that’s when I was told that my transmission needed to be replaced. I was told my vehicle was not holding any transmission fluid and that my torque converter was burnt out (basically saying the car was done for) I was quoted on a new transmission. I was then told by the service advisor Dakota Tillman that the man that serviced my car was willing to purchase the vehicle from me for 1500 dollars (this is a 2016 Ford Taurus SHO with 55k miles valued between 14-27k. He even told me that he has a buddy at the sales department that would be able to “hook me up with a new vehicle”. He gave me his buisness card and told me to think about it. The following week I began to notice the vehicle running in even worse shape. I decided to give the car a second look at a local mechanic about a week after. The mechanic came out within 5 minutes of looking at the car and said “the last person that checked your car out hates you”. I was confused, That’s when I was informed by the mechanic that the last person to work on my car left the transmission fluid drainage open hence the reason it was “leaking” and that it was missing 5 quarts of ATF. He sealed the drainage plugs and replaced the missing transmission fluid and the car was back in its original condition. Negligence and solicitation do not go here.- Add to post I went to the dealership today in an effort to mediate things that’s when I was offered a full refund for the diagnostic fee (admission of guilt) by the rude disrespectful manager if I took my post down. He wanted me to make a new post saying something positive! This is no question at minimal negligence, lack of due care and solicitation. Heck I don’t won’t to be that person but with the way I was treated they might even be racist. More
