My husband's Pilot with over 209,000 miles failed Virginia inspection miserably, so we needed to find a new car quickly. Initially my husband was thinking of buying a Ford Edge but really wanted much better gas mileage. Thankfully Mike accompanied us on a test drive of a 2014 C-Max Hybrid and guided us through a much different driving experience. Note that we had recently enjoyed renting a Ford C-Max Diesel with a manual transmission (very different car from the U.S. C-Max) for a week in France. Mike was not pushy at all and didn't overhype the gas mileage of the C-Max. He discussed the error with the fuel economy ratings. Surprisingly, yesterday we received a $475.00 check from Ford fo compensate for the estimated average fuel cost difference between the previous and revised combined miles-per-gallon estimate for our vehicle (corrected to 40 mpg combined city and highway). My husband has changed his driving habits since we bought the C-Max; he often uses the cruise control feature plus accelerates and brakes more gently. After driving 3,200 miles, our C-Max has averaged over 45 mpg. He is thrilled! More

He is a no pressure, just facts, and provides you with the best price upfront. This is huge, at least with me. Bottom line up front-you either like this or you don't. Lowdown and Unfair Treatment from Ted Britt Ford Chantilly I bought a Jeep Wrangler 2012 from Ted Britt Ford Chantilly in July 2014. The deal was this: I wanted the Jeep but it had steel wheels on it so I told I bought a Jeep Wrangler 2012 from Ted Britt Ford Chantilly in July 2014. The deal was this: I wanted the Jeep but it had steel wheels on it so I told them I wasn’t interested. They texted me later saying they’d put bigger alloy wheels on it if I’d buy it. I told them yes. The deal was done. I was driving Route 50 West happy as could be in my new Jeep Wrangler when the ‘flat tire’ light came on. I called Ted Britt Ford Chantilly when I got home and they said bring it in. A couple of days later Christina Wimbish from the “Orange Team” called to say that the new alloy wheels didn’t have tire pressure sensors. Without them, the light would stay on and even worse, it would not pass state inspection. Add insult to injury, Ted Britt Ford Chantilly would not pay to have sensors put on. I paid a visit that afternoon and experienced their “customer service”. I spoke with a very rude sales manager called Roland Johnson. This guy had a major attitude. He said that I’d gotten a great deal and that they were not going to finish the job. Lisa Walker, another sales manager then said they’d take it to Farrish Jeep in Fairfax to have a diagnostic on it. I waited a couple of more days. Then I got a call saying that the Jeep did in fact need new sensors and that they weren’t going to pay for it. Again, adding insult to injury. They drove my Jeep to Fairfax and back so the gas tank was almost on empty. Only after I mentioned it did they add $15 gas. To sum up, they wanted a quick sale but didn’t want to honor their part of the transaction in full. They didn’t complete the work. Had they said that it was going to cost me $700 to buy sensors for the wheels I’d have NEVER bought the vehicle. I got lowdown unfair treatment. More
