Poor diagnostic I brought my vehicle to the dealership to diagnose a check engine light. I was told that there was a bad O2 sensor that cost just under 350 to replace I brought my vehicle to the dealership to diagnose a check engine light. I was told that there was a bad O2 sensor that cost just under 350 to replace. The day I was informed that my brake actuator was bad and needed to be replaced for 3253.00. When I said I could not afford that but needed to have my check engine turned off they told me it would pass inspection with it on, which is not the case. After all that I went to a mechanic for a second opinion. That technician tested the actuator and found that it was working properly. He traced as best he could and found the failure somewhere in the wiring just before the catalytic and the transmission. He could not repair it because Toyota does not share the wiring diagrams. When I contacted the dealership, I was told it would be another 255 to diagnose an issue they should have found the first time. Needless to say I will no longer return there and definitely will not recommend them to anyone. More

I had hoped it would be a simple fix but it wasn't - Brought my 2004 Land Cruiser in for an early oil change because some warning lights had come on. I had hoped it would be a simple fix but it wasn't - the car needed to be kept overnight. I was offered a nearly new Tacoma as an interim vehicle, which was extremely helpful and much appreciated. The service was swift, capable, and my Cruiser is back and better than ever. More
