I will never fear car salemen again ! I have put off buying a new car for far too long , my car was 11 years old and there was nothing wrong with it, as time went on I wondered where I mig I have put off buying a new car for far too long , my car was 11 years old and there was nothing wrong with it, as time went on I wondered where I might get stuck. But the real reason I put off buying a car was the fact that I absolutely HATE dealing with car salesmen. I spoke to Michael on the phone prior to going to the dealership. Even though he was nice I wasn't sure what would happen when I got to the dealership. An extremely pleasant surprise. Michael was professional, calm, willing to answer my 1000 questions without appearing annoyed and there was absolutely zero pressure . Michael took care of everything, my insurance and my old registration and carefully explained all paperwork. I would definitely recommend Michael and the dealership to anyone without reservation. Terrible Sales I have to say I have never, ever had a worse experience with a car dealership. The initial sales process was ok although we were handed off twice to I have to say I have never, ever had a worse experience with a car dealership. The initial sales process was ok although we were handed off twice to different sales people and a manager. I needed to go back to drop of a check on the following Monday and the finance guy told me he gave us the wrong rate and my husband would have to come back in to sign all new papers. Ok fine. The next problem was that the sales person whose name is Mike told us that he would take care of calling our insurance company to add the car we purchased to our policy. He was going to call on Monday as they were closed because it was a Saturday. On Thursday of that week I called my insurance broker just to follow up and make sure everything was ok with our insurance Nope. She had never heard from Mike and had no idea we were driving a new car. I gave her Mike's info as well as the vin, make, year and model of the car. She called me later to say that called Mike and not only was he totally rude to her, he hung up on her! But wait it gets worse. She called me again to tell me that the insurance company called and Mike had called them pretending to be my husband to add the car to the policy. I would say that in general this is fraud and it's a BAD was to conduct business. Our insurance agent took care of everything for us no thanks to Mike who should have lost his job for fraud. Fast forward two months and I get pulled over for not having an inspection sticker on my car. What?! I had no idea that I had to get the car inspected myself. I have never, ever had to do this after buying a car from a dealership. I got the registration in the mail and stuck it in the glove compartment. Mike never told me this was something I would have to do. I just paid the ticket and it was $130. There is language that I would like to use here but won't. Needles to say I am not happy with Team Toyota of Princeton for this and will tell anyone looking to buy a Toyota never step foot in their dealership. More
