We interacted with two departments in the car buying process - Sales and Finance. - Sales, by Rob Moran was absolute pleasure because of his responsiveness, transparency, and humility. Would strongly process - Sales and Finance. - Sales, by Rob Moran was absolute pleasure because of his responsiveness, transparency, and humility. Would strongly recommend Rob, and would love to buy another car from him any day - Finance, on the other hand was the worst experience thus far. We did all the right things ahead of time - getting insurance, filling up Team Toyota's credit application online, etc. I know the application went through because I saw an inquiry on my credit report through the credit monitoring services. Even after that, on the day when we wanted to pick up the car, the Finance department said that the "online application system does not work" and made us refill the application and go through the approval all over again. While the re-filled application was being "processed", the finance department pushed other customers ahead of us and we waited for five and half hours. To make things worse, the Finance person was arrogant and full of who-cares attitude with all the "hey man!, I will get you in soon man!". Here are some recommendations: (1) First and foremost, Finance process should be considered integral to customer buying experience (2) Make a sincere effort to evaluate the inefficiencies in the process and clearly sort out things that need to be fixed, steps that can be completed ahead of time, steps that "must" be done in person, etc. (3) Get a scheduling system in place, for the Finance part (4) Finally, treat customer nicely. A a popular saying goes - people forget what you say to them but never forget how you made them feel. A well treated customer may overlook a few gaps here and there. More
Very fast and efficient purchase experience, but Very fast and efficient purchase experience, but salesman didn't know anything about the XC60 and reported the vehicle as spotless/immaculate with 10 Very fast and efficient purchase experience, but salesman didn't know anything about the XC60 and reported the vehicle as spotless/immaculate with 10k miles, only to find it needs a major clear coat or paint touch-up on rear quarter panel and scratch above rear door handle, estimated today at local body shop $500 to $600 to fix properly. After driving nearly 3 hours one-way with a less than favorable trade-in offer now ironically listed by dealer at 5k higher, didn't have much choice than to buy vehicle for my wife. And our Salesman Matthew Morante just wanted us out the door, as quick as possible, not offering to address the necessary touch up repair on a luxury vehicle with triple coat white, or the piles leaves/acorns found at bottom of radiator, and overall lack of detailing which took another 3 hours to vacuum and clean to almost new condition. BBB complaint to follow, if we can't get resolved. More
