As we were waiting, I recalled a couple of hard lessons I have learned over the years about car dealers: 1) If the service at the beginning is terrible, don’t be surprised how bad the service will get later. 2) When you buy a car, you are also buying the dealer. Had an appointment to see a car on Tuesday 3:45 pm which was cancelled 30 min before the time. Excuse: sorry we sold the car last night. I am not a fan of online car purchasing (but Team Toyota had the car I had b 5 hours to get to this location through heavy rain and road construction. I am not a fan of online car purchasing (but Team Toyota had the car I had been looking for), so I arrived wet and holding nothing a moderately large grudge. My tune changed once I talked to sales rep Tyler Morgan, has a great demeaner and very disarming personality. He answered all questions and worked very hard to make things right with me--and my trade-in car. Also worked with Gina Pietrangelo (sales manager), who is another incredibly stellar personality at this place. I very much enjoy my purchased vehicle, and would go through the 2.5-hour travel ordeal in a heartbeat to again work with Tyler and Gina--2 absolutely wonderful people. (PS--even after the sale, both Tyler and Gina answered questions for me about car and the paperwork. To say it a different way: they continued to be Rock Stars even after the sale was made.) They are worth the trip!! More
