We drove from Michigan to buy a 2023 RAV4 Limited Hybrid from Rico. We loved his no pressure sales, his personality and ability to know or find any answer to any question we had. Bought a 2023 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD, LEATHER, NAVIGATEION, HYBRID. PEARL WHITE. Had some issues with paint touch ups. Also, was not aligned right. Driver's door plate was broken. 2nd key Fo NAVIGATEION, HYBRID. PEARL WHITE. Had some issues with paint touch ups. Also, was not aligned right. Driver's door plate was broken. 2nd key Fob had chew marks. I think they were in a hurry to get it out to sell too fast. Porter dropped the ball and didn't clean it properly. Windows dirty as well as the head liner are dirty. Another few other things. This vehicle was supposed to be TOYOTA CERTIFIED. IT WAS NOT. They picked it up today to fix all the problems. Well see what happens. More

Seemingly-underhanded methods like this are not the way to build a relationship "that will last generations." Most dealers include the cost of prepping a car in the advertised price. This seems sketchy, particularly for a Toyota dealership. We thought we were ready to purchase a used vehicle after a test drive, even though the price was on the higher end of fair according to KBB and it wasn't exactly what we wanted, but close enough. They charge a "standard" additional $1,198 on top of the advertised price. When I add another $1,200 to our price range, there are much better deals elsewhere. The $1,198, when added to the advertised cost of the car, pushes it out of the fair range and into the high-priced range according to KBB. It's a great way to bait someone with one price only to switch it after a test drive. I was hoping to purchase this car after seeing the records of exactly what they did to prep the car to warrant such ridiculous fees the next business day, but I don't appreciate the way they deceive customers with their pricing scheme.
