On the 7th of May, my wife and I stopped at Taylor Auto Max, the representative named Brian Parker gave me an immediate welcome that came across as sincere, not contrived. I told him I was looking for a vehicle that was four doors and under 10,000 dollars. He showed us multiple vehicles that were in excellent condition and worthy of buying. I told him I would be back in couple of days to test drive the vehicle. He obliged, and didn’t try to push the sale; like most other dealerships. A few days later, I returned to test drive the vehicle and end up buying a Chevrolet Cobalt from him that was well within my price range. In my opinion, the actions by the dealer that contributed in my decision were: *Advertised a good price and backed it up with action---honesty counts big in my book. *Able to shape the outline on a possible deal. This was a "go/no go" point in my exploration of Taylor Auto Max. *Presented a facility that is clean, well maintained. Important to car guys like me. Filthy dealership suggests sloppy shop for follow on work to new vehicle. *Staff: this is a well managed business that looks out for its people. Any business that invests in people gets my attention as the good morale will spill over into matters that benefit me when I go down the road of vehicle ownership. Thanks! More

For several weeks I did a lot of research on the Internet and in person at multiple dealerships looking for a new or lightly used pickup truck. After selecting several candidates, I started contacting deale and in person at multiple dealerships looking for a new or lightly used pickup truck. After selecting several candidates, I started contacting dealers with offers. Even though I live 550 miles from Taylor's Automax, I was willing to go that far if the terms were right and they were honest and up-front with me. I exchanged a couple of e-mails with Taylor's Earl Brewer, then called and talked with Scott DeBrae (Earl was off for several days). Scott was very friendly and very helpful. He focused on answering my questions completely and honestly, and didn't try any sales tactics, which, after 30 years of buying cars, I would have immediately recognized. I gave an offer, and, after a short negotiation process, we agreed on a price. I said I wanted to know the "out the door" price, with no fees or costs added later. There were none. I rented a car one-way and travelled to Great Falls, Montana with my wife (which made the trip more pleasant), but I was determined to walk away from the deal and drive back home if anything at all was different from what we had agreed on in our conversations, or if the truck was different from what had been represented. Nothing was different. It was the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. Thanks, Scott and Earl! I'm sure the fact that I offered a fair price to begin with, rather than trying to somehow talk them in to a low-ball offer, helped. Dealers are entitled to make a reasonable profit for the services they provide. However, it's not unusual to find dealers that have a list of tactics they go through to try and increase their profit margin unreasonably, including in the business office "just doing the paperwork" after you think the deal is final. I got none of that from Scott or Earl. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend you check them out, even if you have to travel. They will even pick you up at the airport, if you want to fly. More

I have never brought something with some much ease and trust. It took a friend of mine a month to get a car at another dealership and when she had problems they abandoned her. It gives of an aura of a caring family. Jerry, the sales associate I worked with was soooo amazing. He helped me on everything from monthly payment to correcting my credit. My father passed away in May 07 and I haven’t felt so cared for in such a long time. I felt everyone there was rooting for me to get the car even though I went through a lot of issues but I got it in the end. I give customer service a five because he treated me better than family. I give quality of work a five because he put in extra hours. He’d give his all even though he was having personal issues to ensure I’m taken care of. His friendliness was amazing I laughed I smiled I even cried. He made me feel like a person not just a sale. I gave overall experience a five because 10 wasn’t a choice. Jerry is the perfect dealer. The price was manageable and my car is SEXY!! I love the service and I love my car better. Keep hiring people like him. I will defiantly recommend ALL my friends that way. More
