My husband and I came to Taylor's knowing we wanted a bigger SUV and how much we could spend but not much else. Jay showed us a lot of different options that would work for our budget. He couldn't have b bigger SUV and how much we could spend but not much else. Jay showed us a lot of different options that would work for our budget. He couldn't have been more friendly and courteous. He ended up finding us a vehicle that surpassed my expectations as far as milage and quality for the budget we had. I would highly recommend Jay to anyone who is looking for a good deal on a great car. More
Taylors is by far the best dealership in the state. My family and I have bought nearly all our vehicles from Taylors and the ones we havent bought there we wish we had, Taylors has never done us wrong. On family and I have bought nearly all our vehicles from Taylors and the ones we havent bought there we wish we had, Taylors has never done us wrong. On my recent purchase of a new ford truck I delt with Jay Schabarker he is by far the best sales associate I have ever delt with anytime anyplace. Jay helped me find the right rig for me it was everything I wanted and needed, than after finding the right truck I sat down with Jay to discuss options well Jay was brute and honest a lil honest at points but I like that Jay fought hard for what I wanted and got the deal done that would work for me. Best guy around I hope he sticks around for all my vehicle purchases in the future for both mine my familys and my friends dont go no where else but taylors auto max and dont look no further for a better sales associate than jay. I called the 888 number on an internet vehicle for my son Adam Petersen. I was forwarded to Jay Schabarker. I asked Jay about the vehicle and pricing. Jay described the vehicle and a couple of issues. He Adam Petersen. I was forwarded to Jay Schabarker. I asked Jay about the vehicle and pricing. Jay described the vehicle and a couple of issues. He knew the inventory. He knew we were in Butte and Missoula and would need to travel to view the vehicle. I asked if he could make it worth the travel cost and expense to travel to Gt Falls. We planned to arrive in GT Falls at 3:00. Jay was waiting for us, knew what we were looking for, had the vehicle ready for review and test drive. He worked us through the deal very well, no "I'll check with may manager" trips back and forth and waiting for decisions. He had gathered the information needed and presented the vehicle and deal. I appreciated he dealt with my son - this was his first purchase - in a professional manner, even though he knew the final decision quite likely rested with Dad. I appreciated the timely service. I went in looking for a 4 wheel drive pick up or SUV since my 2WD truck is not cutting it for the winters we have been having here lately. My older brother came with me for support and to make sure I w since my 2WD truck is not cutting it for the winters we have been having here lately. My older brother came with me for support and to make sure I was treated fairly. I was told they could work with my less-than-perfect credit so I was optimistic that I could find a truck in the 5000 to 6000 price range I knew I could afford to finance. I wasn't even offered a chance to drive the truck I came in to look at. They were so concerned with getting financing squared away that I never did test drive a car. After running the financing paperwork through their system, they told me they could not find a place that would finance that amount for me, but they could sell me a car. They then proceeded to show me a car (against my brother's and my own protest) that was 4 years NEWER than the truck I wanted to drive. When my brother asked what the bottom line on the car was, he was only told "well, the payments would be reasonable". They initially skirted the questions as to how long I would be making these payments until my brother finally got frustrated with not getting a straight answer and asked "If I were to write you a check today, how much would I pay for this car" to which the salesman (who had to make sure it was okay with his manager to tell us..) finally replied "12,667"!!! Leaving the store I was less than impressed and the salesman called me the next day to offer me to look at another car. I politely declined saying that I was not interested and I would wait until I could find a truck that I could finance, to which he replied, "well, we don't the luxury of just selling you ANY vehicle you WANT. We have to do what we can finance". To be honest at this point, I simply hung up on him. I didn't care to be railroaded into a car I never wanted and 5 years of payments. More
We purchased a car from Taylor's and was encouraged to purchase a warrantee with the car which we did. After a few days of owning the car we recognized it did not run correctly and so brought it back in. purchase a warrantee with the car which we did. After a few days of owning the car we recognized it did not run correctly and so brought it back in. After multiple visits to the service department we were told by a very honest service tech that we had been sold a lemon and our car needed to be replaced. So we connected with the original sales person who made promise that they agreed along with the Taylor brothers agreeing that our car needed to be replaced. They would begin to find us a replacement. After MANY calls and visits from us for over 6 months trying to see what was being done they finally offered us a replacement car that was $20,000 more then our one we purchased. When we voiced our concern that we could not afford 20K more and have children in college Mr Taylor told us we should not worry about educating our children and buy a car for ourselves. (Yes really that was the sales pitch we got!) After a very frustrating conversation where we were obviously not on the same page, we asked about the "Comprehensive Warrantee" that they sold us. We asked if our repairs could be completed through this warrantee we purchased. We were told by Mr. Taylor that he would check into what it would cover for us. SURPRISE.. We never heard back from them. So I began to do my own research as to what to do with our lemon of a car and the "Comprehensive Warrantee." that we had. Took it to a dealer who actually helped us and made a recommendation. We were referred to a person who specializes in Cadillac's and was told that we have a bad engine. They spoke with our "Comprehensive Warrantee" for us and found out its NOT comprehensive and it will cost us almost an ADDITIONAL $2000 for us JUST TO HAVE THE ADJUSTER LOOK at our car once it is torn apart. Then we would be out of a vehicle for over 2 weeks due to the work that had to be done. That was IF the adjuster actually got there in a timely manner so it could be as long as 3 weeks with the work that needs to be done. SO we went back up meet with the Taylor's and ask if they could even help us with a vehicle while ours was being torn apart. You can guess what they said.. NO WAY.. Not "NO PROBLEM".. Surprised.. Not us!! Let me tell you how my car drives. I have a oil change every 3000 miles and between those oil changes I have to stop and put another 3-4 courts of oil in because it burns oil non stop! It jerks as you drive it, stalls at stop lights, wont turn over at times when you turn it off.. I have to keep my foot on the brake and gas at the same time to keep it running on a hill, and the ice on road engages when it is 80 degrees outside. In my opinion .. their "No Problem" Ads are just not right! We have had nothing BUT problems! I would NOT recommend this company. More
I came in to the dealership looking for a nice 4WD vehicle that was affordable on my budget. This was my first vehicle purchase and I was helped by Brian Parker. After finding out what my needs were a vehicle that was affordable on my budget. This was my first vehicle purchase and I was helped by Brian Parker. After finding out what my needs were and what vehicle I was interested in, we went for a test drive. After some deliberation, he gave some information to help me make my decision. He did not push the deal and the choices were left to me. Finally, i decided to purchase. I was given a reasonable price on the vehicle and an excellent trade in value for my current vehicle. The entire purchase was very simple and everyone at the dealership was very helpful. They want to take care of you while doing their job. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle in the Great Falls area. More
531 mile internet deal with Bryan Palmer trading my 05 chevy for his 03 chevy diesel. Each of us rated our vehicles for the other sight unseen. After meeting and signing papers at a mid point he started chevy for his 03 chevy diesel. Each of us rated our vehicles for the other sight unseen. After meeting and signing papers at a mid point he started in tearing down my truck and bad mouthing the condition of my tires saying I miss led him and it was going to cost him his commission. He called me twice at home harrassing me into trying to give him money for tires so he would not lose his commission. Tires have been good enough for me, but not for him. After getting the 03 truck home the check engine light came on and stayed on so I took the truck to my local mechanic. He plugged in a diagnostic reader $77, and discovered that the glow plug module and glow plugs need to be replaced at a cost of upwards of $800 dollars. I have already put in $70 for an oil change because the oil condition did not compare to the oil life it was supposed to have left and after looking at the dirtiest air filter I have seen in 40 years of buying vehicles I had the shop change everything. The dealership could not have looked at the condition of the fluids and that filter and still let the truck go on the lot for sale. I am into this 03 truck about $504 dollars so far with the big ticket item coming this Monday when I take it in for the glow plug module. Bryan phoned again today and called me everything but a human being when I told him I was not going to give him any more money. I gave the dealership $4,387 already and they will make another 5 to 6 thousand off the truck so if they were the kind of dealership that Bryan claims they are, they will give him his commission. I know for a fact nobody is going to give me any money. I have in the last 40 years bought 15 trucks, 9 of them new, and 14 cars, 8 of them new, plus 8 rvs and 6 four wheelers. No where in that time have I ever been so degraded, belittled and called everything under the sun by a sales person at a dealership. If the dealership allows that type of customer relationship from one of their salesman I can only question the integrity of the dealership it's self. We worked mostly with Scott and Dave which was a good experience. I would say 99% of the people we talked with at the dealership were helpful. I was only irritated with one of the employees but he was experience. I would say 99% of the people we talked with at the dealership were helpful.
