When I arrived to the car lot, Tom was there to help me right away. He was very professional and willing to help me out with what I needed. I have been car shopping for quite awhile now. We have driven through a lot of car lots checking out different cars and prices. Finally last Saturday I decided I was ready to start test driving. The salesman was Dave Stinar at ACR. He was very helpful, friendly and had a great sense of humor. We went out on the highway for a test drive in a couple of different cars. I knew the second car was the one! It was smooth, comfortable and fast. ;) It had almost every thing I had been looking for. I love it!! We made a deal on it and I was able to drive it off the lot that day. It was a 3 day holiday weekend so I didn't think that was going to be possible, but it was. I've bought several vehicles over the years and like many people, looking back I can't recall ever having a good experience buying from a dealership until I made the connection with Jay Shabarker. I was on a nationwide search for a 2007 Ram with a 5.9 Cummins when one with the right combinations showed up on Taylor's Auto Max website, but being 1300 air miles away, I was being more than skeptical as I couldn't just hop a plane unless I knew more. Jay responded to my perfectionist requests for more photos and all the other concerns that he could respond to in my long distance quest. I was ready for the next step so we agreed on a price and I flew to Great Falls to pick it up. What a great experience, Jay is the real deal, unlike any car salesman I've met before. Jay's description was right on target - no games, no gimmicks, the truck was right. I just finished my 1500+ mile drive home today and couldn't be more satisfied. It doesn't matter if you are near or half way across the country like I am, I highly recommend contacting Jay. Some time has passed and I wanted to revisit this site just to reconfirm what I wrote back in Sept 2012 regarding my truck - it's still running very well, couldn't be happier. I'm just pleased to be able to come back and confirm that what I had to say 18 months or so ago is still applies. More
