I am in the Air Force and I had arrived in Montana at Malmstrom AFB as my first duty assignment without a vehicle. I looked at one dealership and did not like the service I was given. I was highly recommended by a few people to go to Taylors Auto Max. One person even recommended Ron Cooper to be THE man to see. I went to the dealership after work on Thursday and Ron Cooper started helping me out. Asked me what I wanted and was great with listening to my exact wants/needs before showing me around the lot. We went in to the building to go online and look at what vehicles he had in my budget as well. He was never pushy about going above my budget I had for a vehicle. Once I found what vehicle I was interested in he drove me to the other lot to see the vehicle in person and let me test drive it. Ron was very honest about any questions I asked on the vehicle and didn't try and hide any defects with the vehicle. He showed me the car history report to show it was not involved in any accidents. Ron had stayed with me on Thursday after normal business hours to help me find the perfect vehicle. I had returned on Friday with some issues with my loan but Ron Cooper had talked to the boss and mentioned I was in the military and they instantly helped me out and got the vehicle I wanted within the budget of my loan. I am very thankful and happy to see that great and honest customer service still exists. I am very pleased with Ron Cooper's service. I would recommend my friends to go to Taylors Auto Max for a vehicle and to ask for Mr. Ron Cooper. I purchased an 07 Chevy HHR with 56K miles from this company in April of 2013. The car was advertised in excellent condition and was priced as such. I was told that the vehicle had been through a full company in April of 2013. The car was advertised in excellent condition and was priced as such. I was told that the vehicle had been through a full inspection and that there were no mechanical issues with it. When I got home with it, the remote start on the key remote didn't work. I let this go - but then 2 days later the check engine light came on. Ran the code and it was an emissions leak.. Upon calling the manager and discussing this situation with them (8 days after I purchased the vehicle), they told me that they were not responsible but agreed to let me bring it in after work and they would diagnose the problem and go from there. I told them I would be there at 4:30. It is an 87 mile drive from Hobson to Great Falls. I left work early at 3:30 and it was snowing and there was ice everywhere, and on top of that I encountered a detour due to a road being closed. I called them and informed them that I would be late and asked them to please be patient. I arrived around 25 minutes late, give or take 5 minutes, and they had already sent their mechanics home despite my phone call and despite the 87-100 mile drive I had just made. They then told me that I was being unreasonable and offered me an appointment between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. I told them that this was impossible for me because I live an hour away, and I'm a teacher who teaches 5 days a week, sometimes on Saturdays as well. A verbal argument erupted in the showroom before I actually met the manager for the first time. He then brought up numerous times that I had "hammered them to death" in negotiating a price for purchasing the vehicle and that that was why they were so unwilling to "bend over backwards" for me as they apparently do for other customers that don't negotiate for the best price. In my opinion this was simply unacceptable. If I had arrived at 4:30, 5pm, even 5:30pm, especially after I called and gave them a heads-up, I believe they should have had someone stay for an extra 15-30 minutes to take a look at the car they sold me with someone wrong with it. Shame on me if you fool me twice - I will not buy another car from this company, and I have made sure to let everyone I know about the experience I had. On top of that, I have been added to the company's paper mail and email spam lists, despite my requests to be removed from them. But since they sent me a request for a customer service review, here it is. More

It had to be a Chevy or GMC, crew cab, leather, moon roof, all the extra options, low miles, excellent condition and a super great deal! I even had a preferred color and year in mind because I have a favorite body style. I had been wanting a newer used vehicle for almost 2 years but kept feeling nervous about getting into something that I would not be happy with and worried that I would not be able to find the exact thing I wanted that was in my price range. I was so set on what I wanted Jay really did not have much to work with because I really was not going to budge on exactly what I wanted. Well Jay had it! He had a couple GMC's for me to look at and test drive. I felt so comfortable working with Jay and he was so knowledgeable about every vehicle that I was test driving plus was able to even compare to other vehicles to help make my decision so much easier to make. Not only was Jay helpful, but he was very kind and had a lot of patience with me while we negotiated on the price until he got it down to where I really felt comfortable. I went in for a test drive on a couple vehicles and drove off the lot with my new GMC. I absolutely LOVE it and could not be happier with my purchase!
