Ignore the problem We leave a 2015 lease and it shuts off all the time while driving it. So WHEN my 22year oo (who drives it) gets in an accident, I will be suing Steve Taylor, the service department and Hyundai. More

We are an older couple and the salesman Chris scammed us with the double down payment. We had a leave car to turn in with a few payments left and we will told that Taylor would pay of the remaining payments with the double down payment. After them playing the game of asking the sales manager for a lower payment scribble on a sheet of paper we came to an agreement. My wife and myself was under the assumption that the leased car was going to be payed off, should have read the fine print, my fought. So I sucked it up and was told by Chris the payoff was $1600.00. When I was to return the car to the lease company to my surprise the leased car payoff was $2700.00 that you for the lie Chris and Taylor. This guy will do anything to sell a car he is a lair and a thief. I trusted him and the dealership to supply me with the right info on the leased car. Thank you Chris and Taylor for the lies. This dealership used to be one I would recommend. However, they have gotten either lazy or comfortable and this leads to high prices and bad service for their customers. Well I took my 2000 tiburon for transmission shift problems . I am a mechanic but had no soft ware for transmission . I had replaced the pulse generators because of acode PO722 .So later that day the problems . I am a mechanic but had no soft ware for transmission . I had exsplained to the mech anic I had all ready replaced them . Then he tells me that I can not use nothing but Hyundai parts or they will not work . Ok I've seem this happen be for being a mechanic so Itold him to go ahead and replace them.. So it took aweek to get my car back . they said the codes have cleared .but my transmission is junk. and for $1600 they could install a rebuilt transmission .they said I had a junk yard thansmission in it. I had told Robert that the marks on the transmission were when it was rebuilt. He tells me that nobody but the factory could rebuid the transmission. . Seems like I got screwed by my transmission shop so I thought. I go and pick up the car drive it home . and find I had the same code in it that I had when I took it.there .So I had paid $423.87 . to have the same problem. so i take it apart to find that they installed the pulse generators wrong. so I put them in right and my transmission worked fine . I called the service writer (Robert Ayers) after telling him what I found and I should get a prtial refund for work that was done wrong . well he said he would talk to manager.because that was a flux copasitor to him . well to make a long story short I never heard back from them .NO REFUND.So if you take your car to Taylor Hyundai get a 2nd opinion.they will screw you if you let them. More
Friendly staff. Outragously HIGH PRICES for service! $180 labor to install a $35 part. Problem with ignition key. NOT RESOLVED! Must make another trip to TRY to correct problem. Took THREE TRIPS to finally get that problem resolved. I am reluctant to rely on this service department but must as this is the ONLY Hyundai dealership within reasonable driving distance. More
I am partly to blame for my poor experience as my transaction involved the trade-in of my vehicle, something I've not done before. The total value of my trade-in was not made fully clear until I was transaction involved the trade-in of my vehicle, something I've not done before. The total value of my trade-in was not made fully clear until I was in with the finance manager and then it was communicated to me in passing while signing 20+ documents. During negotiations with the new car manager, he kept referencing a quote sheet that said TRADE (written in all caps) plus cash back (written numerically). I asked a couple of times for the total of those 2 figures (what I was getting for my car in total...blue book of $11-12k) and never got a straight answer or was redirected to some other facet of the negotiations (what payment I could afford, etc). The initial offer was TRADE with $5000 cash back...again the dollar value of the "TRADE" was not addressed directly. I declined and said $8000 cash back (assuming the TRADE plus this cash would equal in the neighborhood of the value of my trade...again, I've not traded-in before). The deal gets done and while signing and only after I asked what the "TRADE" value was did I learn that it was $500; in other words, a combined value of $8500 for my car. Frankly, it didn't register with me until the next day (as I reviewed numbers) that I had just "given" my car away for $3-$4K less than it was worth (and was originally offered $5500 for the TRADE plus cash)! I know used cars are a profit center for dealers, but come on. Had someone simply said..."you know, you'd probably get closer to what you want for your car if you sold it yourself" OR if the total value I was getting for my car had been addressed with clarity, this dealer would likely have a customer for life. Instead, it seems a "buyer beware" mentality exists and will keep me away in the future. Note: after calling the dealership to address this issue, I was told I could not back out of the contract for the new car but I could "back my trade out of the deal", get my vehicle back and attempt to sell it myself, which I am doing. I am happy with the new vehicle but very disappointed with the lack of clarity surrounding the trade-in valuation tactics used at this dealership. More
