But the main reason I bought a car that day was because we had been to 5 other dealerships before going over to Taylor and no one had offered me a cup of coffee or anything else to drink. That was one of the first things Kevin had done and that pretty much sealed the deal right there because it showed me that he cares about his customers and their car buying experience. More
We have bought, over the years, at least five vehicles from Taylor Dodge. We have always been treated with the upmost respect and patience. The service department always bends over backwards to accomadate our visits and even has answered questions over the phone. Jim Crosswell and Tim Slattery work hard to satisfy our every request. Steve Furteck has stepped in to answer questions on different subjects that he had experience with. Ruben Minton made us laugh and put us at ease in filling out paper work.Mike, the porter in the service department , even came out to visit. A few years ago, we needed a new car. Our credit wasn't the best. When everyone else told us flat out NO John said let's see what we can do. We went home that day with a new car. Very pleasant, no pressure experience after finding the vehicle on the Internet. Highly competent sales and finance personnel who went the extra mile to insure a satisfactory purchase. Most people think of going to a car dealership like they think of going to a dentist....they put it off until it's absolutely necessary. My experience was not like that, I originally drove through the lot browsing, curious about what might be available and for what price. After test driving one and while backing it into it's space I noticed a sharp looking gold Jeep that appeared to be just what I was looking for. After a test drive and a little unsuccessful price negotiating I went home and pondered this little gem that was just waiting for me. Later that day I called back with a counter-offer and they accepted. Last year I took a road trip to Vero Beach, Florida and that little 4cyl jeep ran like a singer sewing machine, avg 18- 23 mpg and returning us back home safely without any mechanical problems. Two weeks ago I made the exact same road trip with the jeep and again, it ran like a Singer sewing machine avg 18- 23 mpg and with no mechanical problems. It may turn out to be one of, if not the best vehicle I've ever owned. These are good people to do business with; they dispel the stereotype of car dealers and salesmen. They treated me fairly and honestly, despite my healthy skepticism and I would not hesitate to buy a car from them again, perhaps when this jeep is paid off. More
