I had a great experience with Expressway Toyota always. Angelo and Wesner are awesome, they take their time to help and find the best deal. I appreciate you all. My mother just purchased her 2nd car and my Angelo and Wesner are awesome, they take their time to help and find the best deal. I appreciate you all. My mother just purchased her 2nd car and my cousin her 3rd one, I can't count how many of my friends go there for services. I will always support this dealership. Thank you for the welcome. More
I don’t think I would be giving this dealership a one star review if I didn’t have Manny B as my salesperson. Every interaction I had with him was extremely unpleasant. I went in June to order a car. I d star review if I didn’t have Manny B as my salesperson. Every interaction I had with him was extremely unpleasant. I went in June to order a car. I did not get a copy of the document I signed saying I ordered the car. I emailed him asking for a copy, and he said he’d send it right away. I didn’t hear anything for a week. I sent him a reminder email and he said he would send it as soon as he got into the office. I didn’t hear anything for another week. I sent him another reminder email, and he didn’t respond. My dad, a lawyer, sent him an email asking him to send a copy of the document I signed. He told my dad there was nothing for him to send. My dad referenced the previous emails in which he said he would send me a copy, and Manny responded “Boss, if she would like she can come in and speak to a manager.” My dad spoke to the manager, who sent the document immediately. September comes around and Manny tells me my car has come in. I ask him if I can come in on Saturday. He says yes. He also gives me the VIN so I can purchase insurance. I purchase the insurance and go in on Saturday to get the car. First, it turns out he gave me the wrong VIN. Second, it also turns out he can’t register the car because it is a Saturday. I asked three different people if it would be okay that I purchased car insurance with the wrong VIN, and they all told me it would be no problem. I make a plan with Manny to come pick up the car Wednesday morning, between 10 and 11. He texts me Tuesday night to tell me I need to call my insurance to change the VIN. I am able to do that easily enough, but I am annoyed because I was told multiple times by multiple salespeople that it wouldn’t be a problem. Manny texts me Wednesday at 8:30am to tell me the car won’t be ready until 2-3pm. I ask him to text me an hour before the car is ready so I can head out. 2pm rolls around and I haven’t heard anything. I text him asking for an update. He doesn’t respond, so I text him again telling him I have plans later and just need to know if I should cancel them or not. He tells me he’s just waiting on it to be inspected, and that there are still a few cars ahead of mine. I tell him I’ll head down to the dealership and wait there. I get there an hour later, around 3:45, and he comes to tell me there are still two cars ahead of me. I asked him if there was anything he could do, and he said no. I told him I would wait. A woman named Jessica comes over to help me set up an app, and tells me my car will be out shortly. I said Manny told me it would be an hour and a half. I then told her something my mom had just told me, which was that I didn’t need to have it inspected there. Jessica told me that was true, and that if I took it to get it inspected elsewhere, they would reimburse me the $35. I was shocked Manny didn’t tell me that, since all I had been waiting for all day was the car to be inspected. I told her that is what I would like to do. She went to speak to the people who handle those things, and when she came back, she told me they could take my car right then to inspect it, so it would only be a half an hour, but I could take it without it getting inspected if I wanted. I was so happy, and I asked her to please have it inspected. She showed me how to set up the app, and by the time we were done, the car was ready. Manny handed me the keys and said “Sometimes my manager can get things done faster than I can.” I was surprised (although by that point I shouldn’t have been) that he didn’t get his manager involved sooner, if that was all it took. In the end, I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. I interacted with some really lovely people, specifically Duke, Gustavo, and Jessica. I think I would have had a much better experience if I did not have to work with Manny. More
