The reason I'm giving this review is to tell all about my great experience when I bought a used car from Bob DiPetrillo and he was wonderful. He followed through to make sure everything was okay afte about my great experience when I bought a used car from Bob DiPetrillo and he was wonderful. He followed through to make sure everything was okay after I took delivery. My lease was coming to an end on my 2012 Ford Escape, so I went back to Tasca Ford where I originally bought my Escape. I have always had great experiences at Tasca with both the sales & service department I went back to Tasca Ford where I originally bought my Escape. I have always had great experiences at Tasca with both the sales & service department. I will defiantly go back again and tell all my friends about Tasca. Vinnie Taylor was very helpful with explaining my new Escape to me & all the new features that the Escape has to offer. James Teague was very helpful with helping to find a car that I was looking for at the right price. I love my new Escape!! Thanks again for the great service Tasca. More
Friendly Service, Quality Service, and Honesty are what I experienced at my last Tasca visit. The mechanic and the service manager, Barbra, made me feel that they were worth trusting. By far the worst dealership experience I have ever had looking for a new car. Before visiting the dealership I researched Fords online, had already visited a few other dealerships and had narrowed down my looking for a new car. Before visiting the dealership I researched Fords online, had already visited a few other dealerships and had narrowed down my choice considerably. I arrived and requested a specific model of Fusion to test drive. Apparently I should have checked the sticker a little closer because when we started the test drive I found out he car was not the one I drove all the way to Rhode Island to drive but instead a higher end model. No thanks. We got back to the dealership and I took the car I wanted out for a spin. Luckily i had done my research online because the sales rep knew very little about the car. I made the mistake price with the sales rep. Well, he started about $3,000 under his final offer, and after about 3-4 iterations of him telling me that this was their best offer,he managed to come back with a better one. (There went an hour or two of my life sitting in a chair waiting for him to come back that I'll never get back). They pulled the old hidden key trick so I couldn't leave. About a week or two later I called up the rep and let him know I would buy the car for $500 less than their best offer from the week prior (they truly had the upper hand in the game of supply). He agreed so I made my way down. When going to finalize the financing for the deal he lied to me in order to have me sign the paperwork. After everything was signed his manager came out to tell me they couldn't do the deal the way we had agreed. (Again, I had to wait at a table for about an hour while this all went on). I left and made the biggest mistake by not getting the final deal in writing because when I returned the following week the 1) Sales Rep was no longer with the Company and 2) No One had any record of the deal we had agreed on. Further, they treated me like a liar and completely disregarded anything I had to say, making no attempt to reticppfy their loss of the paperwork. Long story short, steer clear of this dealership. They are high volume and have a lot of the latest models, but the lack of customer service and a sales force with a college diploma leaves a lot to be desired. More
I gave this dealership a 5 for everything because of the tremendous experience I had. I was in a motor vehicle accident 2 weeks ago and was in need of a new car; I took my previous Ford Focus to the Tasca tremendous experience I had. I was in a motor vehicle accident 2 weeks ago and was in need of a new car; I took my previous Ford Focus to the Tasca auto group for repairs a few months ago, and I figured I had such a good experience, I would take a shot at purchasing a car from them. I was greeted warmly by every member of staff as I walked through the door (looking rather shabby in home dress clothes btw). Everyone was very professional including the manager Tony Parente, who referred me to a gentleman my the name of Alex (cant remember his last name young guy, very tall). The manager informed me that Alex was currently training which at first made me apprehensive. But I have have to tell you, Alex did a tremendous job. Coming from a sales job myself, I know it can be a difficult establish a rapport with a customer as well as have a professional demeanor and positive outlook. I explained my budget and what I was looking for in a car. Something no frills, but a car with good safety as I have a baby on the way. I was dead set on the new Ford Focus, as I have owned 2 before with no problems, but the head room wasnt enough for someone of my stature. Alex then directed me to the new Fusion. I loved the look, the features, the price and took it for a test drive. It was everything I was looking for. Everyone at Tasca did a hell of a job and got the paperwork rolling ASAP, with minimal hiccups. Even the finance lady was warm, understanding and explained everything to me (this was the first car I bought on my own). The day my car was ready for me to pick up, the salesman Alex came to pick me up from my home in Providence since I didn't have a ride of my own. Talk about customer service at its finest. I will continue to go to this dealership/repair shop for all of my needs. They are good at what they do, and treat you like a human being. Thank you again Alex, for making it all happen. Best of luck to you and your future with Tasca. Cheers! Gabriel Rodriguez More
I went to Tasca looking for a used car. Amanda( internet sales)made an appointment with Randy who made me feel comfortable from the start. After several cars did not meet my needs. I went to see a vehicle sales)made an appointment with Randy who made me feel comfortable from the start. After several cars did not meet my needs. I went to see a vehicle at another dealer not realizing that Taca had just purchased that dealership. I purchased a vehicle that had some issues thankfully Tasca being the amazing dealership they are took the vehicle back. I then went back to Randy who continued the hunt and found me the perfect vehicle. I can not say enough about Randy and Dana who helped me navigate the entire process of getting the original purchase inspected and returned. Also Alex the general manager who truly was the nicest person to deal with for the NO HASSEL return. And not to leave out James in finance who truly jumps through hoops to get you to your most comfortable payment. More
Young salesman was polite and respectful. The sales manager was truly an inexperienced individual who was an arrogant person who appeared more interested in impressing this young (22 year old) salesman manager was truly an inexperienced individual who was an arrogant person who appeared more interested in impressing this young (22 year old) salesman, with who he was, more than he was in connecting and understanding why I was at a stand still. Having been in the sales production business that required daily, monthly and yearly production goals, I was truly set back by this SM and how he handled the situation. a--- not only challenge my values, ignored what I stated was the situation, but kept me there to entertain or I guess train the young salesman. Are you kidding me. This is what he is breeding? Owner beware! I went to another dealership the following day, explained the situation and they chuckled and said they could meet the numbers/conditions exactly. You guys lost out, unnecessarily. Owner needs to expect what he inspects! Anyone paying attention. They is enough non qualified tire kickers that we can turn off the qualified willing and able. By the way, he said (SM) he would email me some revised numbers, never did, instead he has his salesman call me as if everything is ok. No email. Are you kidding me. This was the perfect training on " what not to do". This SM was a joke and the epitome on mediocrity at best. Imagine if Mazda/Ford is hitting its production goals with this SM, what could they do with a SM with a clue. He belongs in the retail store with high traffic, so he can still make the goals. If he had to apply sales skill sets, in a smaller volume store, he would be gone. He needs to remember, " that people don't care who your are or can do, until they know how much your really care about them." He didn't care about his salesman (bad example) and even more myself, with the money. If I were the owner, I would ensure the was some type of qualification standards for management that require role playing and demonstration of skill sets that are a must. Are you kidding me? This Mazda/ford dealership with a clown in a leadership position? Times have changed and the little things that made a difference, are no longer important in this dealership, based on what I experienced. Go forth and demultiply! More
