My Salesman Jacob Poirier made a great effort to get me the car I wanted, called me when he had something in inventory, and went to the Tasca Dealership in Connecticut to get the car for me. It was no hassle, I got a great rate on the car, and there have been no complaints at all. They honored their warranty when the headlight wasn't working, and have always been courteous to me. I always recommend Tasca to my friends and family and send them to Jacob. 10/10 would do business again. The management at this store is great, and are always friendly, nice and inviting, especially the General Manager and General Sales Manager. They always have a smile on their face and love their jobs! More

He was extremely patient with all our questions, and worked very hard at finding exactly what we were looking for. I will highly recomend anyone shopping at Tasca Ford to request Rich, I know you will be happy! Great guy! More

Bait and Switch! Terrible Experience! I visited Tasca 3 times to test drive a Mazda 3. I told Rich, our salesperson, how much I was willing to spend during the test drive, and he said he I visited Tasca 3 times to test drive a Mazda 3. I told Rich, our salesperson, how much I was willing to spend during the test drive, and he said he could work with that. Then he made my wife and I sit at a table for an hour. Finally, he came back and asked, "How much more would you be willing to spend? How much would you be willing to pay on top of that? What if we financed a payment on top of that." I told him that I had a price, and that was it, so he told me he couldn't work with me. Then I came back to test drive another car. He didn't really have time for me, so he told me to drive it, and then come back another day to talk about price. When I came back, I wanted to purchase a Mazda 3s. They had one listed on their website for $24K. When I inquired about it, they told me that it was a 3i (different trim level, smaller engine). Also, the $24k price is only for people who qualify for all the incentives (military, current Mazda owner) and I wouldn't qualify for that price. He told me that he was willing to sell me a different car for $28K. I told him this seemed dishonest, so he got his manager (I'm not entirely sure whether it was a manager or just another salesman). His manager raised his voice to me. Actually yelled! He told me that Tasca is not responsible for the information on their website. They use a 3rd party service to post info on their website. He told me that I hadn't read the fine print carefully enough. He yelled, "Did you read the fine print on the website? No, you didn't! If you want this car, here's the price!" I walked out. I have never been so angry about an experience with a dealership. On the plus side, I'm glad this all happened, because I bought a beautiful VW GTI for $5k less than the Mazda would have cost. And the VW is a nicer car. And faster. More
Terrible Service Center I brought my car in for an oil change and was told that my coolant was off colored and needed to be flushed. I brought my car in two weeks later after I brought my car in for an oil change and was told that my coolant was off colored and needed to be flushed. I brought my car in two weeks later after I got paid to have the coolant flushed and the tires rotated. When I checked to see if the work had been done I noticed the coolant was still the same color, way below the min line, and that the tires had not been rotated. They had my car for four hours and did not do the work. I had to bring my car back in to prove that the work wasn't done. On top of that the mechanic cracked my coolant reservoir. { Ken maybe you should work a few weekends instead of hiring kids to do no work :) } I paid cash and had given coupons. I had to have another service Center look over my car and they verified that the fluid was old. The tires I know were not rotated because one of them was plugged and not moved. I got completely ripped off and I am still waiting for my money. Don't pay for service that isn't being done & Definitely don't waste your weekend with this place. More

The salesmen at this point were prompt to help me out and obliged on a test drive. I then decided to purchase the car with my lease end trade-in. We worked out an arrangement and agreed on a price. That's when the fun started. The sales team (Eric and Vinny), started to try and change the deal, a slightly higher price, remove the remote start option. Having me sit for very long periods of time waiting. I finally did agree to a slightly higher price under the pressure, and then moved on. We worked out the paperwork, and Joseph Cabral was the finance officer who put the deal on paper and worked it out with me. He was the best person in the whole place, (which I have come to learn that he is no longer there, maybe he was too honest for them?). The deal was that I would put a down payment, trade-in my lease, (which had a buyout value), they factored the buyout into my new car price and loan, so that the lease buyout would be paid in full by Tasca. I bought the car and was told I could pick it up in 2 days with the remote start installed and ready to go. I showed up 2 days later, dropped off my lease, handed them the keys, they gave me my new car paperwork and only a single key! I asked where the other key was, and they said "we don't know", but didn't offer to get another key or anything. I said that was unacceptable, so they wrote me a "WE OWE YOU" order stating that they had to get me a key. I go to get in the car and inquire about the remote start, to which Vinny replies, "oh...I guess we didn't install it". So I said ok, install it and I will come pick up the car. 2 days later I get the car and drive it home. Two weeks go by and I finally get a spare key. Two more weeks go by and I have police officers show up at my house stating that I abandoned my lease on the Tasca parking lot? (I had to go to the dealer and remind them that they took the car on a lease trade-in). Two more weeks go by and I get a call from my leasing company stating that my buyout has not been paid and I owe them the money that Tasca already took from me to pay it off. I then contact Joe Cobral and he states along with James Teqgue (the manager), that it will be taken care of and it was an oversight. This cat and mouse game for getting the payment to my lease company went on for months. Each call and attempt to remedy this was irrelevant, and James Teague continually assured me that it was going to be paid. Finally I had to get an attorney. Under the threat of lawsuit I finally received my check. I had written letters to both Tasca Ford, and the CEO of Tasca about this event, and never even heard back from them with an apology from the company. All in all, it was a horrible experience and I highly recommend bringing your business elsewhere. More
Was not satisfied I called ahead to make sure the car I wanted to look at was still in stock and for sale. Bob answered the call. When I got to the dealership a very I called ahead to make sure the car I wanted to look at was still in stock and for sale. Bob answered the call. When I got to the dealership a very friendly salesman greeted us. Brought around the car I wanted for the test drive. Had a very good impression so far. Test drive went as expected, I had test driven other 2013 Camry's so I knew what to expect. When I got back from the test drive another sales person not quite as personable greeted me. The salesman who first greeted me explained that this is the one who picked up the phone when I called and I was being handed off to him. This is when my experience went down hill. The "dance" around what I wanted out of my trade and what I was going to pay for the Camry went as I expected. I will say they paid off what I owed on my trade as expected. I had done my research my pay off was the low end of what the trade was selling for at auction, I did my homework and my trade was paid. The price of the Camry I purchased was on the slightly lower average of what other dealerships were selling comparable models for. This is where Tasca failed on their promise of "you will be satisfied" After a deal was reached, I informed the sales person and manager I already had financing. My fiance and I waited over 2 hours in the showroom for the finance person to become available. NOT ONE TIME in the whole 2 hours were we ever offered anything, not a voucher for lunch, a coffee, not this is going to take a while we are busy, you guys can come back in an hour or we'll call you if you want to step out. I even asked my salesman if we could leave and I'd come back the following Monday because I wasn't even able to drive the new car home that day. I watched the 3 other people ahead of me go through their process because I could see the finance office from where I was sitting. Finally it was my turn to see the finance specialist. I got the preamble about how he's been doing financing for 30 + years etc etc, I informed him I already was pre approved and had a 4.5% interest rate. The paperwork was in my mailbox at home, I could go get it. The finance person said he wasn't sure what I was talking about, I was only approved by one lender for a higher rate and if I wanted the car that was my only option. I could leave and figure out what I was saying about my pre approval and come back at a later time. I was told the place I was pre approved at I was rejected for, I told him that is because I have an open loan blank check and they wouldn't approve another loan he submitted. I wound up taking the "only" loan offer on the table for a .5% higher rate. I was told the place I was pre approved at had a history of doing this and was told I actually wasn't pre approved, that they just tell people that. Very Disappointing!! This left a very bad taste overall in my mouth. I don't like being lied to, or being mis lead. After all this was over, I wanted to take one more walk around the car before I got in my car I arrived in to leave for home. My salesman walked me around the car, I asked if they ever give out vouchers for us waiting for so long. I was told yea, they do that sometimes. I just got a blank very uncomfortable look after that point. I took this to mean, yea we do that sometimes, but not for you. Since I was driving the car I arrived in back home, I needed my keys. I asked my salesman for the keys, oh you didn't get those back? I said nope, he came back with my keys. I said great where is it parked? He had to go check and came back and said over there, and pointed to another lot in front of the service garage! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! I've spent now 4 hours at this dealership and you can't even bring my car around for me? Ok Tasca now you need to change your slogan. My car was supposed to be registered for me on the following Monday ( I went to the dealer on a Saturday) I had to call mid day for an update. I was told they would call back in the evening because their runner wasn't back yet. Standard stuff. Finally around 6:30 I got the call they did not have enough info from me to register my car. Funny thing was I had the missing info on me at the dealership Saturday and offered it to them, and said they might need it. They said they wouldn't. So I waited another day for delivery of my car. 4 days after I made the deal the sales person drove the car to a Dunks close to my house and met me and took my trade back. I will say this was the good part of the experience. I appreciate not having to drive to the dealership to pick up my new to me car. I will also say I've had more than one dealership experience at multiple dealerships in the area, this type of service is on par with what other dealers do, specifically the delivery of the car, detailed with a full tank of gas. Yes most reputable dealerships will do this, even come and exchange cars. I don't really count this as a plus in the Tasca column. At the end of this experience, I got the car I wanted, I got my trade paid for (FYI 3 other dealers also said they'd pay off my car) so I suppose I achieved what I set out to do. Its now a little over two weeks later and I just got a letter from the company I was pre approved from saying they rejected the dealer submitted financing request because I had an open loan offer. Black and white in my hand proof what I said was true and what I was told by financing was less than the truth. I will tell anyone who is looking for a car my experience with Tasca. I will NOT call out the salesman or finance person. More
