Tasca Automotive Group was founded in 1943 by Bob Tasca, Sr. In 1953 Bob opened the original Tasca Ford in Bristol, Rhode Island. Just one year later this dealership was completely destroyed by Hurricane Carol. Bob relocated and ultimately opened up the new Tasca Ford at 777 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that Bob and his team became the second largest Ford dealership in the world in the 1960's. This was also the birthplace of the Tasca Racing program and many historic muscle cars such as the Ford Cobra Jet, Tasca Street Boss, and Mystery race cars.
Bob opened Tasca Lincoln Mercury in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 1972. TLM became the highest volume Lincoln Mercury dealership in the world in 1986, and repeated again in 1987 and 1988 while also winning the Ford President's Award for outstanding customer satisfaction. This fulfilled Bob's dream of saying "None Bigger, None Better." It was also at the Seekonk store that Bob launched the innovative Pre-Trade program, pioneering the concept of short term trade cycles and leasing. He was also joined in the business by his three sons, thus fulfilling another of his dreams to build a successful family business.
70 years and three generations later the Tasca Family continues to grow. We have been blessed over the past seven decades with great customers and great employees. Always the best. Courteous. Friendly. Caring. In the past I have been required to go to a different dealership due to warranty requirements. I have a Pontiac now, it was given as a gift to me. However it required me to take it to a different dealership. I have long been a customer of Tasca. Once the warranty was up I could return to where the service and expertise is unmatched. The problems I have encountered in going elsewhere were not issues with the vehicle as much as with the service. From crossing wires inside the dashboard so the traction control came on when I pushed the fog light button to having to replace axle seals three times in a row to them losing my keys when I dropped it off and then arguing about replacing the remote start key fob that THEY had lost. Coming back to Tasca is like coming home to family. I will always be a Tasca customer! Your list of employees to choose from below does not include two of what I consider to be the best of the best to deal with. George and Mike from service! I will choose Mike from Administration from the list below because I cannot submit the form if I don't make a selection but it is not someone that I deal with. More

Awesome 90-Day Warranty Service Experience We bought a used Ford a few months ago and I recently noticed a patch of rust on the trunk door. I spoke with our original salesperson, Gary, and his manager Chris about the rust and they not only offered to fix the rust at no cost as part of the 90-day bumper-to-bumper, but they also arranged a loaner car for me while our car was in their shop at no cost. Great overall experience both with purchase and service so far...will definitely be coming back to Tasca again whenever we need a new one. More
