Tasca Automotive Group was founded in 1943 by Bob Tasca, Sr. In 1953 Bob opened the original Tasca Ford in Bristol, Rhode Island. Just one year later this dealership was completely destroyed by Hurricane Carol. Bob relocated and ultimately opened up the new Tasca Ford at 777 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that Bob and his team became the second largest Ford dealership in the world in the 1960's. This was also the birthplace of the Tasca Racing program and many historic muscle cars such as the Ford Cobra Jet, Tasca Street Boss, and Mystery race cars.
Bob opened Tasca Lincoln Mercury in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 1972. TLM became the highest volume Lincoln Mercury dealership in the world in 1986, and repeated again in 1987 and 1988 while also winning the Ford President's Award for outstanding customer satisfaction. This fulfilled Bob's dream of saying "None Bigger, None Better." It was also at the Seekonk store that Bob launched the innovative Pre-Trade program, pioneering the concept of short term trade cycles and leasing. He was also joined in the business by his three sons, thus fulfilling another of his dreams to build a successful family business.
70 years and three generations later the Tasca Family continues to grow. We have been blessed over the past seven decades with great customers and great employees. We told him that under no circumstance we would buy a car that visit but there was just something about him, maybe it was his smile, maybe the twinkle in his eye, his sheer unyielding charisma, but before we knew it we were sitting at the desk and my relative was signing the paperwork. Everyone there was super friendly, especially Jeff Barske, who spent a great deal of time helping us to understand 'the reality of the situation' when our vehicle that was in for service had very expensive repair costs. Also, a very huge thank you to Paul Mendence, who was also very insightful and friendly. My relative loves their new F-150 and I plan on buying my next vehicle here as well!! More

The first was a n So I am not a review type guy, but I felt compelled to write this summary of my experience. I have bought 2 cars from Tasca Seekonk. The first was a new Mazda 5 back in 2015 and a used 2011 Nissan Frontier in November of 2019. Jeff Barske was my salesman for both vehicles. What a great guy. No pressure, no haggle. In and out very quickly with no BS. We did the whole deal and I was out the door with my new truck in a few hours. They took my old truck in trade and gave me a good price on my new truck. Car buying experience is typically in line with going to the dentist and typically not so pleasant. What good guys. Hope to do more business in the future. More
