Was one of the first customers when quick lane opened and have been a repeat customer. Also have purchased tires. Have been purchasing a Ford vehicle every 2 years for the last 20 years. Will never give a positive recommendation or return to this dealership. More

Ineffectual Service at Gibbons Ford I had an issue with a noise coming from the rear door and after several trips for the same problem over the course of a year and a half, I finall I had an issue with a noise coming from the rear door and after several trips for the same problem over the course of a year and a half, I finally identified that the issue was a bad door latch to which they acquiesced. I made an appointment to get the latch replaced, and after waiting more than a month, I arrived for my 6th attempt at getting this problem resolved only to find out that they don't have the parts in inventory even though I had already been assured that this exact scenario would not happen. I'm sure that anyone can understand my frustration level after waiting for over an hour and wasting yet another trip. Had I known that Gibbons Ford would behave so ineptly, I would have gone to another dealer to have this issue remedied, but by dragging their feet having me come back time and again to fix this issue, the warranty has expired and to quote Ford "It's a dealer workmanship issue.” So much for Ford standing behind their dealer's warranty repairs. I have also had several issues with their Quick Lane damaging my painted factory rims, requiring them to be repainted, requiring me to return to have the issue rectified and in turn wasting more of my time. I find it distasteful to have to write a poor review because there are some wonderful people that work there, and I don't like to besmirch their reputation with a poor review, but after several chances, I feel that everyone should be aware of the lack of quality in the service that they provide. I was actually considering trading this vehicle for a new one in the next couple of months, but I believe that I'm going to do this somewhere other than Gibbons Ford as I need a dealership that will be able to service my vehicle efficiently and effectively. Great purchase offset by HORRENDOUS service! Great purchase experience. Service is simply awful. Both the vehicle and my family treated very poorly. Quick Lane means no appointments - which means disorganized bedlam for all service. Nobody knows what is going on and there is huge glass window where you can watch service staff completely ignore your vehicle and your time for hours. Just plain horrible. It’s like they simply do not care. Our new vehicle is serviced at another dealer and had been since purchase. More
They resolved my issues - thank you for listening! I purchased the vehicle out of state so I brought it here for service. Original problem was an coolant leak. They determined, last year, that I need I purchased the vehicle out of state so I brought it here for service. Original problem was an coolant leak. They determined, last year, that I needed a new engine. It took 3 months to complete, all the while I was without a car. Finally got it back in April 2017, and it was ok for a while. Then, in fall, coolant leaks again. Bring it back, nothing is wrong. Call us if it keeps happening. Happens again in February 2018. This time, they say I need another new engine. In less than a year. I am told I can drive it, just add coolant if necessary, til my scheduled repair date. 2 weeks before, the car died completely. Have it towed in and am told they will try to get a loaner asap. Nothing until the day of my repair. Again, i am told that they will have me in a loaner tomorrow at the latest. Most of the day goes by with no word. I call and am on hold for 10 min before being told I will be called back. Now dealership is closed and no call back, no loaner. This dealership does not care about customers or their work. ********* I was very angry when i wrote this original review. Since that time, I was given a loaner vehicle, for as long as necessary. Repairs are now completed and I'll be picking up my car. In the end, they did make it right for me. Hopefully this will be the end of repairs for me and I'll be back to enjoying my car instead of cursing it. More
They don't care about customer satisfaction Never ever have I seen a staff of employees who are so rude and full of themselves. Also if you're buying a Ford dont take the warrenty on it because Never ever have I seen a staff of employees who are so rude and full of themselves. Also if you're buying a Ford dont take the warrenty on it because Gibbson Ford will find some loop hole to force the customer to pay for repairs/parts regaurdless of your warrenty. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dealership. More
Poorly managed service area Had my F150 towed into the new Gibbons service area Sunday. Called them Monday and they told me they had a busy weekend and seven vehicles were towed in. Called Tuesday for update and they told me I was number 8 in line. Called today and now I am number 9 in line to have my vehicle looked at. Not only didn't they look at ANY of the vehicles brought in over the weekend, I lost two spots in line. Spoke with Mike in Service and Heather the service manager. They treated me like they really didn't care. Called the salesperson and he tried to check on my vehicle and even he got the runaround from Service. I had a lot of problems with Gibbons service in the old location but this state-of-the-art building had been a step up for them. Then they revert back to their old ignorant ways. They tell me they take vehicles in the order they come in and don't look at any other until the first one is done. Really? Is the vehicle needs a major rebuild that takes three days everyone else is supposed to wait, or if a part needs to be ordered and it takes three days they just let it sit. Obviously because they told me they have not looked at any of the tow-in vehicles from the weekend. It has been four days and my vehicle may only need a ten minute sensor replacement. I'm frustrated. Full engine swap-NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! I assumed that if i needed a new engine put into my vehicle the dealer would be the place to go. I was devastatingly wrong. I will tell everyone i c I assumed that if i needed a new engine put into my vehicle the dealer would be the place to go. I was devastatingly wrong. I will tell everyone i come into contact about the atrocious service i received at Gibbons Ford. The maintenance department tells you what you want to hear and has no follow through. I originally brought in my Transit van to get an engine swap completed. At the time i approved the quote i was told it would take about two weeks. I agreed that this was fine and we would move forward. During this two week period I reached out for updates twice and did not receive calls back. I was at first ok with this and assumed the busy nature of the shop was the cause. I finally was able to get someone at the end of the two week period and assumed all had gone well and i would be ready to get my vehicle back. Not only was i wrong but i was far from ready for the results. I was told that they had not even began to work on my vehicle. That there was a back up in service due to the many vehicles and an event that had occurred over a month a half before my expected completion date. The reason for no updates you may ask? There were none. Just a repeat of the event that happened a month ago and how it pushed them back. When i addressed that this event occurred before we had agreed to date of completion- SILENCE--- When i was finally able to get a hold of a manager there was no talk of making up for this problem and they were sorry for the added incurred cost i now would have to deal with. This van was a van that was used by a one of my service techs and i now would have to pay for a rental for an additional two weeks. They were "sorry" there was nothing they could do and 'sorry' no one had kept me informed or updated the status. Now it is finally time to get my van and guess what happened? You guessed it, still not done. This was by far the worst experience i have ever had with a dealer and company. It has made me consider replacing my fleet of vans with another manufacturer as we move forward. Ford should be embarrassed to allow this dealership to use their name and the service department should not even be an option for customers. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will tell any one that listens to stay as far away from this place as they can. More
