Unbelievable. I bought a Ford Fiesta 2011 on Feb 11. parked it fior one week while on vacation. came home drove the car and had stumbling/hesitation/shudders when stopping or slowing down and teh starte parked it fior one week while on vacation. came home drove the car and had stumbling/hesitation/shudders when stopping or slowing down and teh starter was grinding when cold. I made an appt for service later that week. the following day the trasnmission had NO forward gears and Ford Roasdside Assistance was called to tow it back to the dealer. I talked with the salesman Joe Dickhut who told me dont worry they would make me happy. Yeah right. later that day i was called and told all my issues were resolved with a bad ground cable. Paint on the end of it! OK I picked the car up but STILL had the hesitation/ stumbling/shudder issues. I had an appt for them to install a remote starter. I took it in and told them the issues still existed and check into it while there. Later they told me they could not find an issue. The remote didnt get installed as it was wrong part. rescheduled. i took it home and STILL had the issues. nerxt appt for remote I told them look at it again ahnd this time took Service Manager with me for long ride. the issue happened and he tried to tell me it was a characeteristic of the car. Hello? Poor performance a characteristic? i have YEARs of automotive experience and felt the snow job coming. Until we went to park the car and it shuddered and nearly stalled as we poulled into spot. I looked him dead in the eye and said you felt THAT right? Now THAt is a transmission problem. He agreed. The car is there now two days with no resolution in sight. They say Ford wants to replace the trans but they want to know if I am going to be happy with the poor performance. Hello? What are you asking me? Accept inferior? NO! I spoke again with Joe Dickhut and said I wanted out. He told me not to get another Fiesta! What? You mean they are no good? huh??? I cat believe this. I spent 18K on this car with the options. he calls me later and tells me the sales manager gave him numbers. Another 50 a month for a Focus. This is after I told him I wouldnt pay anything more than what I paid. I said how about swapping out the defective car? I was told they cant do that because my car is now USED! WHAT>?????? This car came in on a hook with less than 300 miles on it and back two more times for the same issue which they tried to pawn off as "characteristic" Not to mention they gave me no documentation showing what I complained of the other two trips in! I am APPALLED and wholeheartedly disappointed in FORD and this dealership to make this situation right. To ask me before they fix the car if I am going to be happy with poor performance afterwards is absurd. This is totally unacceptable! ford is going to hear about this. I am not taking that car back without a sound repair and FULL documentation for my other visits for the same complaint. They tangled with the wrong person this time. This will be escalated until I am FULLY satisfied. BTw I still dont have the remote starter installed! What a joke! DO NOT BUY AT THIS DEALERSHIP! YOU WILL BE SORRY! More
i had transmision troubles with my ford fusion and needed to have it towed. my vehicle was towed in on a tuesday. i had called them to let them know it was coming, and they were honest (the one and only time to have it towed. my vehicle was towed in on a tuesday. i had called them to let them know it was coming, and they were honest (the one and only time) and told me that they were busy and not exactly sure when they would be able to look at it, to which i was not happy, but did understand. 3 days later i called and spoke to someone in the svc dept. and asked about my car, after being on hold for 5 minutes the man returned and asked me what my name was. i told him, and then was put on hold again. the man returned and asked when i brought the vehicle in, i had told him that i had it towed there a few days before. he stated that he had NO record of the car being there and that i should call the company that had the car towed. after calling the tow company and finding out that they did drop it off and gave the keys to the service manager, i called back, and some how they had just found my car, and where going to look at it asap. later that night i drove by and saw my car sitting in the lot, now i note that this was on a thursday, and took a picture of where it was parked. a few days went by, and the car had never moved. on wednesday i called and spoke to mr. pulmen and asked how my car was doing, he stated to me that it was they had an idea of what was wrong, and was going to be worked on the following day, which was thursday. thursday evening i drove past the dealership, to find my car sitting in the exact same spot it has been in for over a week now. i pulled in the service parking area and called the dealer and asked to speak to the svc. manager (joe pulmen). when he answered i asked how my car was coming along, after a LONG PAUSE he stated that the vehicle was on the lift and was being repaired. i didn't know that i had 2 vehicles there, because the one that i had towed in was sitting right in front of me, not being worked on. i asked him if he was sure that it was my car that they were working on, he stated that it was and it should be reapired in 2 days without a problem. i then told him that i am standing next to my car and that they could not be working on it. there was stunned silence on the phone. i very simply told him to not touch my car and i would have it towed from the dealer the next day. after some stammering from him, and offers of a free rental, and free oil changes, he agreed to leave the keys in it so i can have it towed the next day. my car was there for over 2 weeks, the svc dept, and mr. pulmen made numerous false statements that they were repairing my vehicle when they were not. i had my car towed to coccia ford, and it was repaired in 1 day for a wiring problem that is know to occur in some of these vehicles. mr. pulmen is the biggest liar in the local area, and after doing some research, his reputation at other dealerships preceeeds him. STAY AWAY, STAY FAR FAR AWAY. More
I had been a buyer of Ford vehicles for many years but left due to my interest in Subaru cars. Needless to say I have returned to buying a Ford product due to my interest in a 2011 Shelby Gt500. I made left due to my interest in Subaru cars. Needless to say I have returned to buying a Ford product due to my interest in a 2011 Shelby Gt500. I made an acquaintance with salesman,Mr. Joe Dickhut and I am so glad I did!! Joe went out of his way in a personable way to help me find the vehicle that I had spec out. He really put a lot of effort in making my dream become a reality.Gibbons Ford should be grateful to have Joe as a member of their staff. Besides Joe,the receptionist Carol and the finance manager Stephanie were extremely friendly and helpful in making my experience at Gibbons a most pleasant one!!!!!! Joe More
THE most rude and nasty auto service dept. I have EVER dealt with!! I am originally from the area and I spend a lot of time there with my extended family and had never heard anything bad about the dealer dealt with!! I am originally from the area and I spend a lot of time there with my extended family and had never heard anything bad about the dealership. So, when my Ford broke down, I had it towed to their lot. I bought the car at another Ford dealership in a different state. I guess since we were not potential return customers, we could be refused service. My husband I were missing work and thought that when we called, they would give us a date that they could work on the car. On the phone they told me that they didn't know when they could get to it. Maybe they would know the next day. On the second day, my husband and I went to the service department and the only person more rude than the guy behind the counter, was the manager who happened to come through. We were told in a nasty and derogatory manner that they couldn't even tell me when they would be able to work on the car. They said that it wouldn't be the current week, and they didn't know when they could 'fit it in'. I automatically had the car towed to a Ford dealer because of the wonderful service department that we deal with where the car was purchased. (Sunnyside Ford, Holden, MA). I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated!!! I had the car towed to another auto service center and it was fixed the next day. How long does it take to install an alternator? It wasn't some wierd unknown issue! DONT even think of buying a car here. They certainly have no idea how to deal with customers. I have family in the area and I have made sure that they have all been warned not to patronzie this dealership! More

Brought auto in for service and failed to repair brakes correctly. They let me the owner of the auto drive the auto with a inoperable parking brake. However they made sure they got paid for poor service. A correctly. They let me the owner of the auto drive the auto with a inoperable parking brake. However they made sure they got paid for poor service. A complete brake repair front and back including rotors which I'm wondering if they really needed to be replaced but let me drive an unsafe auto after repair. I was never informed my parking brake did not work. It worked before I had the service. I think you should retrain your service dept. on how to perform repairs and check the auto before it is returned to customer. I ve purchased 3 new auto's and had them serviced there over the years. You have lost me as a service customer and buyer of my next new auto. More

I think I deserve better sevice than that. More
Bought a 2003 ford focus, got a quote from a dealer (whom I don't think works there anymore because he is not in the newspaper) gave me a quote and said it did include tax.....it was a wonderful price so I s I don't think works there anymore because he is not in the newspaper) gave me a quote and said it did include tax.....it was a wonderful price so I should have been suspicious then. Got my loan from bank and went back to buy the car he told me he forgot to add tax and I owed him 700.00, I argued with him until I was blue in the face but neither him nor the financial manager would budge. It was until I said I was getting a lawyer and left that they called and said they would give me the car at the original price, but it still made my first car experience terrible. I would never buy there again. More
I didn't buy my 2001 Ranger there but took it there for service. They said brakes were fine, but rotors are warped, had to repair it myself. 21,000 miles on vehicle. They sprayed wd-40 on window channel to service. They said brakes were fine, but rotors are warped, had to repair it myself. 21,000 miles on vehicle. They sprayed wd-40 on window channel to fix sticking, that didnt work either. Had to remove door panel myself to fix problem. Rear end was clunking, they said there was no problem. They might have the cheapest local prices on Fords, but their service dept. sucks, stay away, buy somewhere else. More
