Worst service ever! I purchased a town and country not even a year. My check engine light turns on I call immediately for service I'm told bring it in we will take a look I purchased a town and country not even a year. My check engine light turns on I call immediately for service I'm told bring it in we will take a look at it. I drop it off 7:30 in the morning with a man by the name of Robert.I received no phone call until I call them around 3 o'clock. To get "oh your spark plug broke in two places and we don't have time to finish it" we will see if we can finish it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and I don't receive a call until 2 o'clock in the after noon. Only to hear ok we where able to replace the spark plug but your vehicle is still miss firing and we don't know what's wrong with it the mechanic working on your car is off tomorrow, we will look at it when he returns. 3 days for a simple check the vehicle not work it just check on it. At this point I was not leaving my car there another day. I pick up my car the second day only to find they change my keys to old ones with no reason..... I call ask for a manager 3 times and i'm told he is out with a customer. It's two weeks before X-mas my check engine light is still on and I have to old keys that I guess I paid $230. dollars for because thats the only thing I see they've done to my car. It's a shame!!! jeep to be fix I had an accident in Aug and took the service department 3 months to fix it. Finally i received my car back and a day later i had to bring it back bec I had an accident in Aug and took the service department 3 months to fix it. Finally i received my car back and a day later i had to bring it back because was a loud noise for the front of the car. Mr perfection Chris Conticchio for service department told me that he did everything correct and was impossible that my car was making a lound sound. Guess what? it was the bearing on the car. I had to rent a car again and 10 days later my car was fixed. Now i have my car for 20 days and the engine light went on and the AC is not working, i had to bring it back again, and one more time im paying for a rental. Of course the service department saying that wasn't their faul and it has nothing to do with the first accident. This was the worse experience, the quality of the job is poor, and also dealing with an arrogant mechanic that doesnt listen at all, and is in the jeep shop just over 2 years... so disappointed More
Doesn't listen to customer UPDATE: They remedied the situation. I visited this dealership's service department to install remote start in my 08 Challenger. 08 Challengers onl UPDATE: They remedied the situation. I visited this dealership's service department to install remote start in my 08 Challenger. 08 Challengers only needed a hood pin switch and new keyfob for remote start plus the programming. At first they ordered the wrong parts needed making me come back the next day which isn't the biggest deal mistakes happen. After a couple of hours they stated they couldn't get it to work and never gave me a straight answer if i could watch the tech go down the starscan instructions. They told me that I needed a new WIN Module costing me around another $400 in parts and labor together. I declined this because i know that i didn't need it. I went over to westbury CDJ in long island. Stated my issue with this system and that white plains installed it. Turned out white plains didn't program it right and hood pin switch wasn't installed properly (a new win module wouldn't have fixed it). Did it at no charge either because it's embarrassing that another dealership couldn't get the programming right nor the hood pin switch. When confronting white plains just to let them know that the WIN module wouldn't have worked and that they can call Westbury for proper programming procedures they got aggravated that i would dare challenge them or confront them. Was going to mention the hood pin till i saw the aggravated face. More
Customer Service-LESS I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler that I am currently leasing from the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Ma I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler that I am currently leasing from the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall). I opted to add a non standard mud tire that I paid an additional $2500. I am a caring car owner, meaning I take my Jeep for regular oil changes and service. After having this Jeep for almost 18 months, I noticed that the mud tire treads were worn down causing an extremely unpleasant ride. I went to the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall) to discuss my options. Augie DeFeo, owner of the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall) offered me a much lesser tire at no cost to me but when I asked about the $2,500 I spent on the mud tires, he emphatically responded “no, I am not going to do that”. I explained to Augie Defeo, owner of the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall), that was not a fair resolution as I am out $2,500. Jeep enthusiasts will agree that if we pay for our options we want our options. I explained to Augie DeFeo that I felt my business was unimportant to him and I left the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall) very dissatisfied. While on my way home, I received a call from Augie Defeo, owner of the Jeep/Dodge White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall). Mr. DeFeo told me that I should MAN UP and pick up the lesser valued tires myself from his dealership and have my own mechanics install the tires. If you view customer service as the most important characteristic in a car dealership, I would not suggest you go to the Jeep White Plains, New York dealership (located across from the White Plains Mall). I bought a 2011 certified used jeep grand cherokee from this dealer on 12/28/12 with 23,000 miles. After 4 months and 9,000 miles brought in for a vibration in the car, rattle in sunroof and oil change. Wa this dealer on 12/28/12 with 23,000 miles. After 4 months and 9,000 miles brought in for a vibration in the car, rattle in sunroof and oil change. Was told i needed 2 front new tires, wheel balance, 4 wheel alignment and all 4 new brakes and rotors. Spent $1,400. Picked up truck and drove down the street and not 1 issue was fixed. Brought back next day and was told by Juan " oh we never balanced the REAR tires". Then i was charged an additional $30.00 for that service. Got in the car, tapped the sunroof and rattle was still there (to give a little credit they did try to fix by the grease finger prints on the headliner) drove car down the block and had exact same vibration. Brought back to dealer. 2 days later i was told " we found you have a bent wheel, we did special balancing ( road force ), had a technition come in and calibrate the machine and now its 90% fixed. If you want 100% a new wheel will cost $400." i said put the spare on before i spend $ on the wheel. Juan said " you wont notice it, its good, we test drove". Drove it and had the same vibration. Filed a complaint with chrysler and after the 4th time bringing it in, i finally got to test drive with the head technition. He felt it and said it was bad. In 2 more trips back they replaced the drive shaft, front differential and 2 or 3 of the new tires because they were "defective". After all these trips ( lost count ) problem could not be fixed. The dealer made no real effort to fix or take resposability. They just threw parts in. And the response i got from the " Jeep resolution team " was...quote " Well you bought a used car, what do you want us to do?". I ended up trading car to another dealer for a huge financial loss. Stay away. More

I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE THERE IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND TO BUY SOME PARTS. WHEN I GOT THERE CHRIS TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS 7 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE THERE FOREVER. I DECIDED TO STAY ANYWAY. CHRIS WAS VERY HELPFUL IN GIVING ME UPDATES ON THE TIME OF MY WAIT. I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THOUGHTFUL OF HIM GIVEN THE MANY CARS THERE FOR SERVICE BUT CHRIS WAS VERY HELPFUL. ALSO VERY INFORMATETIVE. WHEN I BOUGHT THE PARTS THAT I NEEDED, I FELT THAT THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND WILLING TO GO OUT OF THEY'RE WAY TO HELP ME ESPECIALLY HECTOR AND SOC. I purchased a new 4-door Jeep Wrangler Sahara from this dealership in 2008 and have been bringing it in for service exclusively. The Service Dept. has done an exceptional job to earn my trust and to do t dealership in 2008 and have been bringing it in for service exclusively. The Service Dept. has done an exceptional job to earn my trust and to do the right thing when it comes to servicing my vehicle. Recently, my radiator had to be serviced and I was informed that my warranty had expired by 1,000 miles and wouldn't be covered. Having a new baby and looking to move, I was was concerned that I would not have the funds to pay for the repairs and began considering trading it in for a new vehicle. This was very discouraging for me since I had traveled cross country with my Jeep to visit every state in America (reaching 38), and planned to finish my trip sometime in the future. The service dept. was able to come through for me, however, by contacting the warranty company and requested to have them honor the service repair even though the warranty had expired. They agreed, since I have been a loyal customer, and I was able to afford the repairs needed and most importantly, keep my vehicle. I have been to other dealerships/mechanics in the past (with previous vehicles) and always seemed to have had a hard time trusting the way the serviced my vehicles, possible costing me at lot of money. I have not experienced the level of commitment to customer service as I have with the service dept. here at White Plains Jeep Chrysler. A special thanks goes out to Victor, Dana, Rena and Roland for always being so helpful in assisting with the servicing of my vehicle. As well as Guy Forgione who was very helpful and patient in my consideration of another vehicle. I would also like to acknowledge Augie DiFeo and Joe Demascio for running a great dealership which has earned by trust and continued business. Thank you all and wishing you a Happy New Year! More
