I have attempted to contact the customer. I have not been successful in doing so. We contacted the Westbury dealership and the service manager confirmed that our work was done properly in regard to the install. We were not successful in getting the code to work as needed and the Westbury dealership did accomplish this task. We have done countless customer exchange services with the Westbury dealership over the years to mutually benefit our joint customers. Simply put we did not deliver the expected result. Our goal is to always meet customer expectations and in this instance we did not I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with the customer and to offer a sincere apology

I spoke to this customer and quite frankly, it was not diagnosed 100% correctly. Mechanical conditions are often times difficult to replicate and could lead to a faulty evaluation. This in fact occurred and we apologize for not meeting this customers expectation

This customer called and said that he was having issues with the wear on his tires. He brought the vehicle to the dealership and we performed an inspection and noted that his tires were not in good order. This customer had not brought the Jeep to OUR SERVICE for any services. He indicated that he preferred to bring his Jeep to his own private facility because he had a great deal of confidence in their ability.He also stated that he HAD NOT PERFORMED ANY TIRE ROTATION since he acquired the Jeep. The Jeep currently has 22,000 miles. He should have done SEVERAL TIRE ROTATIONS as per his owners manual. This is clear NEGLIGENCE. Our service department based on my instructions offered as a good will gesture 5 NEW TIRES totaling nearly $1500.00 of value despite the fact that the customer was not entitled to good will due to his negligence. Nonetheless, we agreed to do this service. Upon the customer leaving the service department, I called the customer to inquire and ask about his experience. He was obviously very disappointed and made that point abundantly clear by stating that he didn't need my tires and hung up. I decided to call him back and suggested that despite our difference I would still extend the 5 NEW TIRE offer but that he would need to have his mechanic do the work. There was no point in having him come here when he was displeased. He rejected the tires and proceeded to threaten with legal action as well as initiate a smear reviews campaign. Our 5 NEW TIRE offer is no longer on the table and we have done absolutely nothing wrong to cause this hardship and this customer should accept the fact that his issues are due to his personal negligence. Lastly, I did not use nor is it part of my vocabularry to use the expression MAN UP
