Went in March 3 at 9am for a "service air suspension" message on the EVIC, and got handed an estimate for $411.70 at 1215pm. Thoroughly disgusted at wasting 3+ hours for a petty cost proposal. So for the sake of $400, WhitePlainsCJD lost this customer for the service life of the RAM1500 they sold, while another CJD dealer that only knew her as a less than 1-year old FCA product gained a customer. So why would one dealer attempt to burn a repeat customer while another obviously sees it as backing up what the mothership produces???SMH Details: Thoroughly disgusted, so there was no need to discuss the philosophy behind 3-36 warranty coverage w/Roland W. Attempted ripoff?? Maybe. Bad FCA design?? Perhaps. RW said something about "debris, bad connector, RR air suspension height sensor connector”. A gasketed, weatherproof connector behind the fender liner???, think about it...would FCA really make a truck with suspension components that vulnerable to debris or damage by debris???Doubtful. Had her repaired on March 7 at no charge, ie UNDER WARRANTY, by a CJD dealer upstate. RightRear was the location. The service advisor told me it was a defective connector. The worksheet said "found corroded wire - spliced in new connector and tested" Up to this point, had only good experiences when previously purchasing and getting service on a JEEP WK and on fulfilling the sale "WE OWEs" on the current RAM1500. **RAM 1500 air suspension owners beware - Im sure FCA knows the air suspension system on RAM has numerous issues. A corroded wire/defective connector sounds like a factory QC problem. More

Great experience! After a very bad experience at Ramsey Chrysler, i came to white plains Chrysler because my salesman who I've dealt with for years, who previously work After a very bad experience at Ramsey Chrysler, i came to white plains Chrysler because my salesman who I've dealt with for years, who previously worked for Ramsey Chrysler works there now. His name is Rick Schwartz, a truly honest straight shooter, no run around, no bait and switch, no promises he can't keep. White plains Chrysler was able to give me the deal that Ramsey originally promised but then said they couldn't do. Everyone at WPC was friendly and no pressure, paperwork was done quick, I worked with Orlando and Rick, both a pleasure to deal with. If you are shopping for a vehicle go see Rick, he'll take care of you. Tell him Izzy sent you, you'll thank me later. More
Bait & switch/they try to tell you "you can't afford it." I came here in July, thinking about going back to Jeep after my aunt/uncle/cousins had just gotten a Grand Cherokee, I had 3 of them myself previously I came here in July, thinking about going back to Jeep after my aunt/uncle/cousins had just gotten a Grand Cherokee, I had 3 of them myself previously, and the last one was 16 years old with 200,000 miles on it when I traded it in. Wow, what an awful bait and switch. I show you your two ads, say I know it's subject to stock/availability, you still try to put me into a Cherokee rather than a GRAND Cherokee ($10,000 price difference). You said you'd let me test drive both, but then you only let me drive the less expensive car. Hi, I'm carrying a Prada, despite being in workout clothes. Then you don't give me the incentives or my employer's preferential pricing. You claim the price is $8,000 less than my current car, but the lease price is $70 a month more? To top it off, you won't even disclose the money factor you're using! That's ridiculous. Please, don't give this dealership your business; I clearly knew leasing inside and out, but they tried to play me. Nice try, but NO. The same thing happened to me as it did to someone else: I told him the numbers did not add up, & why would I get less of a car, a less expensive car than what I have now, but pay $70 a month more? He had the gall to tell me, "well maybe you should consider an Altitude." Excuse me? That has NOTHING that I want in the car. I drive a car that is MORE THAN $10,000 more than that! Let me decide what I can pay, & aside from that, you REFUSED TO SHOW ME THE CAR I CAME IN TO SEE! I told him from the start that I've had THREE GRAND CHEROKEES in the past, too. Yes, the newer ones are totally different from the 1993-1998 and 1999-2004 models, but give me a break; it was obvious I knew a lot about cars and leasing. --- That was probably the worst leasing experience EVER in my life. I went in, & I said I was interested in a GC. I didn't look like a schlub or anything. I look young for my age, but not like a teenager (I'm in my early 30s). I was pushed toward a Cherokee, not a GC. I said, "Fine, I'm interested in both." The salesman said I could drive both, & we took out a Cherokee first. We came back in, & rather than getting the keys for the GC, he had me sit down at his desk to run numbers for the Cherokee...okay. I have the affiliate program through work & gave him the control number, seeing that he clearly wasn't going to negotiate with me. I knew that there was a $2,500 incentive, & the affiliate program takes about $2,000 off, so it's roughly $4,500 off a $35,000-ish car, so let's call it $30,500. I asked for 15,000 miles, & he comes back at $415 a month with me putting $1,000 down (NY requires you to pay the tax for the lease up-front, & the way it's calculated, you pay a lot more than you would if you paid tax on the monthly payment. If your car is stolen or a tree falls on it, even a week into the lease, NY says "oh well," and you don't get the money back, so I finance my taxes and put $1,000 down as a swap, because I'd get that back through insurance -- taxes are my job, so I know what I'm doing.). Are you freaking kidding me? $415 a month on a car that is only $30,000? I asked him what residual he used; he said "around $18,500." That's about 53%. So what on earth is the money factor he was using? He wouldn't tell me. That's an MF of about 0.0018, when the Cherokee Limited 4x4 MF should be about 0.00005; they didn't run my credit or ask me about it, but considering that I told him my payment on a Fusion Titanium AWD (MSRP $36,950) is $347 a month, he should assume top tier credit. They really tried to play me. That's aside from the fact that I showed him their ad for both the Cherokee and the GC, & though I told him I know it's subject to stock/availability/etc., they advertised Limited 4x4s for both with a $7600 dealer/manufacturer contribution & a MUCH lower payment. They had matching down payments advertised, as well. Their ad had a Cherokee Limited 4x4 sign & drive for $279 a month. Yes, the mileage is 7,500 a year, but when you factor in my down payment and that they advertised double down payments plus my affiliate discount, that should more than add up to my 15,000 mileage requirement. Yes, there was a down payment on their other ad, but factoring in the matching down payment & the affiliate discount, then add in $30 per $1000, the numbers still don't match anywhere near $415; it was $280 at most, & the GC should be about $330. Their ad also had a GC Limited 4x4 sign & drive w/everything I wanted except for the blindspot system for $379 a month. The same goes for the mileage, which is a minor cost. I mentioned the ad for the Cherokee, & he said, "this is the cost." He was also trying to push a Trailhawk on me in white with black leather (the one I test drove), when it's not what I wanted! --- I bought a Volvo S60 and am MUCH happier. Note that it cost $42,000 -- MUCH MORE. Their loss! More
