Terrible!! Went to metro after speaking to salesmen over the phone and by email to get everything in order before hand. What a waste of time, as soon as I walked In the 120%. Trade in was thrown out they we the phone and by email to get everything in order before hand. What a waste of time, as soon as I walked In the 120%. Trade in was thrown out they went right to the ( how much a month can you afford!! ) I kept asking for a price on the car and was told that wasn't how it works ? Really ? After walking out twice we agreed on a used vehicle low miles while closing the deal I asked for a second key, oh sorry sir it only came with one key but "no problem sir we have a special program for you to get an extra key just finish up the paperwork and we will tell you all about it". Well the special program is to add $400 to your loan and call it a "Key Membership" that replaces lost keys no questions! And There is a form you are required to sign stating that the dealership provided me with to keys. I refused pointing out not only was this fraud but I was being charged$$$$$ to get the xxxx 2nd key. I argued and was promised a second key fob if i came in later (it was a Sunday). Well I was then told that they would only provide me with a key fob at cost $150 wth! This is only one of my complainants, they also tried to jack up my interest rates while adding on tire insurance, gap insurance without ever asking me first, when I refused the add ons that said they had to jack up my rates because I didn't qualify for any of their discounted interest rates what a scam!! All in all, this place has been a nightmare! More
We bought a used 2009 jeep. Bought it and found out it was shaking on the highway. Brought it back and the so called "fixed it ". 2 days later the problem occurred. The car should have stated there was a was shaking on the highway. Brought it back and the so called "fixed it ". 2 days later the problem occurred. The car should have stated there was a problem when selling the car, as well at least fixing the car. We had to spend 400$ knowing that if we took it to the dealer nothing would have been solved. Poor service, and I don't recommend ever going there. Terrible, and the manager just sits and does nothing and just wastes the customers time. Poooooor More
I had given an offer to Metro for a 12 Journey for 14k, Tiffany msgd me that my offer would be taken, I then made an appt to come in the next day(today) My husband and I met with a sales lady, and made her Tiffany msgd me that my offer would be taken, I then made an appt to come in the next day(today) My husband and I met with a sales lady, and made her aware of all our info before our credit was ran, we told her my husbands license was expired, and he has good credit.. And I have a license but No Credit. e wanted her aware of all of this to make sure there would be no glitches before our credit was ran as we wanted everything to go smoothly. she came back after a few minutes and said something about the price of the car and my husband quickly responded saying my wife made an offer that was taken for 14k. as soon as she was made aware of this she walked away and stated she had to verify this with msgs on the computer, she came back approx 10 mins later and said we couldn't purchase the car cause the bank won't let be on the loan and he has no license. we asked several questions and she hadno answer to anything except GOODBYE as she wanted to move on to her money making clients that were waitin on her. Would def not recommend anyone shopping for a car to go here! we called the manager Tiffany when we arrived home as we live in Ct and Metro is IN RI. She def made us 100% certain that this deal was not made cause of the offer they took with me they didn't want to make due on. needless to say she went on to say if I had approx 1/2 the $ the bank will give me a loan, my husband then said he would give her that deposit and then she quickly replied No we can't do that... She must have thought we were broke..hmmmm..We are parents of 5 children that wrk hard everyday my husbands a machinist and I am currently laid off as an appraiser.. Seasonal wrk.. Am going to school to be a nurse and this vehicle would have fit our lifestyle until we traded it in within a yr or so for another. we are broken hearted and don't want this to happen to anyone else as these ppl are very unprofessional ... Good luck More
I went to a dealership before going to Metro and was very surprised at the Honesty. I came to Metro with a very specific budget in hand and informed my salesman. He proceeded to show me vehicles that were surprised at the Honesty. I came to Metro with a very specific budget in hand and informed my salesman. He proceeded to show me vehicles that were double my budget and told me I needed to be "flexable". I was so aggravated within 1 hr that I went back to the first dealership (Bald Hill Dodge) and purchased a vehicle. I would never tell anyone to go to Metro Dodge. EVER....They are very uncooperative with working within someones budget. More

A letter to the dealership; I had my oil changed 3000 A letter to the dealership; I had my oil changed 3000 miles ago, as I always do, and yesterday my check engine light came on. I checked my oil and A letter to the dealership; I had my oil changed 3000 miles ago, as I always do, and yesterday my check engine light came on. I checked my oil and it was down 4 quarts. That's right, 4 quarts. I called Metro Motor Group of Johnston, RI and spoke with the service advisor, Manny, and he told me that it is very common to burn 4 quarts of oil within 3000 mile. That is a total insult to my intelligence. He was extremely insulting the way he spoke with me. He asked what the mileage was on the jeep and I did not know the exact mileage. I told him to check the last service record and add 3000 mile to it ant that would be the current mileage. He became very abrasive and said “I thought you didn’t know what the mileage was”. I began to explain, slowly, that if he added 3000 to the last service record recorded mileage and that would be the current mileage. I know this because we compared the actual mileage on the odometer to the service sticker on the window and it was off by only a few miles. He told me to bring the jeep in and he would check the problem for a fee. I can’t believe he would actually charge me to plug a meter into a jack under the dash and read the error code. The jeep is not dripping or burning oil. I believe it was an error by your service technician and, because of this; my engine may have internal damage now. I will be getting the engine checked for damage by an independent service location. I am writing a stern letter to Chrysler and also posting this problem on all of the dealer rating websites for all to read. I would appreciate a call by the end of day, tomorrow. More
