FAILURE TO PROVIDE SALE OF GOODS AS PROMISED Metro Chrysler Dealer in Johnston, RI has been nothing but a nightmare of customer service and had failed to provide sales of goods as promised. SY Metro Chrysler Dealer in Johnston, RI has been nothing but a nightmare of customer service and had failed to provide sales of goods as promised. SYNOPSIS: I paid for a Service Contract on May 31, 2014 for a Chrysler Mopar Warranty on my USED vehicle. At the time of purchase the DEALERSHIP failed to key in the warranty. Since then the Dealership has confirmed their mistake, but has still failed to provide sales of goods as promised. As of Sep 4, 2014 I have yet to receive a Service Contract Number and confirmation of the Warranty being entered. METRO DEALERSHIP has proven these issues to be beyond “training errors” and shown lack of integrity in the practices at this dealership. On May 31, 2014 I entered into a sales agreement with Sale Rep Phelan Dussault for a used vehicle. I was told that I would be contacted later to finalize the sale, but was able to take the vehicle home. A week later I was scheduled to arrive at dealership to finalize sales contract. Upon finalization I requested that my brakes be changed. I was assured that this would be taken care of. I was issued an “I.O.U.” which stated they would “Check and Advise” for my front brakes. I specifically stated that I wanted them changed, because of my own assessment of them. I was assured they would be changed by Sales Manager Sherman and Sales Rep Phelan. A few weeks later I returned to redeem my “I.O.U.” issued to me by Sales Manager Sherman and Sales Rep Phelan. After dropping off in the Service Dept I was contacted by the Sales Mgr Sherman and told they would not change the brakes. Sale Mgr Sherman stated that they did not issue what was promised in writing, and would not honor our verbal agreement. I conceded the argument, and asked to have them replaced anyway which cost me $$$ out of pocket. On approximately June 15, 2014 my service engine light went on in my vehicle. I contacted the Chrysler Warranty which I purchased to schedule a check up. Upon contacting Mopar, I was told that my Service Contract had not been entered at time of purchase and I needed to contact the dealership. I contacted the dealership, and left a message for the GM explaining my issue. A few days later I followed up with the dealership again, and spoke with a finance manager who took full ownership of the mistake and said he would take care of it. I was promised a phone call back when it was completed and did not receive it. On June 20th I sent a text message to Sales Rep Phelan informing him of my Warranty not being keyed in. He said he would follow up and check into it. Since then my service engine light has been intermittent so I did not pursue the issue, assuming the dealership would take care of the situation as promised. On August 20, 2014 I contacted Mopar Warranty to set up a service appointment with my purchased Warranty. I was told at that time that my warranty had STILL not been entered by the dealership. I was again referred back to the dealership to absolve the situation. Since then I have been in contact with the dealership and have been lied to several times. Sales Manager Sherman has lied on several occasions, and told me multiple versions of the story. I have been told that the issue had been resolved multiple times, only to verify with Mopar Warranty myself and the Chrysler Corporate Cust Service to find that they have lied. I AM STILL WAITING FOR METRO CHRYSLER TO MAKE GOOD ON THEIR SALES AGREEMENT. METRO HAS FAILED TO DELIVER PAID GOODS AS PROMISED AND IS INCOMPETENT TO SUCCESSFULLY DELIVER SERVICES WITHIN THEIR OWN INDUSTRY. More

Kristy the saleswoman I worked with was the only decent person i dealt with tho she wasn't as helpful as she could have been. I bought an 04 Wrangler in 2013 which had a TON of problems. It was in an out of their HORRIBLE service department for just over a month. Metro refused to fix the Jeep which has a blown rearend and so many other things i don't even have time to list, just under $9,000 in repairs to date. The service manager I dealt with was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. If anyone wants proof feel free to email me, i'll even buy you a coffee and sit and show you if it keeps you from buying a vehicle from them. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM METRO JEEP!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I have purchased vehicles from the Metro Honda store and hand a great experience each time and thought I would be treat just as well in the Jeep store I have purchased vehicles from the Metro Honda store and hand a great experience each time and thought I would be treat just as well in the Jeep store. NOT SO! I called about a car which they confirmed on several calls only to arrive be told it was sold days ago. Ended up buying a different vehicle and I have had nothing but run around issues with this place. I had to bring my car in 6 SIX times to get an electrical issues resolved within a week of purchasing the car! The latest is a pre-existing issue with my BRAKES of all things which has NOT been resolved after months of calls and messages. Now they won't even return my calls. The last conversation was with Rob who said he would look into it and get back to me shortly. That was OVER 2 months ago!!! I have left so many v-mails and messages for him to PLEASE call me back and he just won't. I tell everyone I know - DO NOT GO THERE!! They will do what they need to do for the sale and then you are on your own if there are any issues. CheapJeep More

Very high pressure sales, and no integrity whatsoever. After agreeing to terms by internet (which SOME dealers actually take seriously), the sales person at the dealer threw everything out and started negotiating from scratch. A young kid - I think his name was Alex. He was insulting, belittling, and simply out of his league. He had no interest in answering any of my questions - he only wanted to know what monthly payment I wanted, and that the car I wanted couldn't be had for anything close to that. Of course, math was not his strong suit - I got the same vehicle with more features (higher MSRP) for a lower monthly at another dealer. But that's besides the point - his approach was horrendous, and unfortunately very stereotypical of a really bad car salesman. Sitting in the middle of their showroom, I could hear many other conversations with other customers trying to buy a vehicle (they don't have cubes/offices - just desks spread out throughout the showroom) - and it seemed every conversation was the same. Metro going back on the price the customer was quoted, the dealer rep being highly rude and demeaning (and in some cases yelling) at the customer, and the customer walking out (or else getting confused and signing just to stop it all!). Don't go here - don't be tempted, and don't believe a thing they say or write to you. Just don't. More
awesome service! Just made my first big purchase from here - 2011 jeep wrangler! I have been car shopping for what seemed like forever and this was my last stop for th Just made my first big purchase from here - 2011 jeep wrangler! I have been car shopping for what seemed like forever and this was my last stop for the day. I was walking around the lot and saw a jeep that I fell in love with and was hoping it was for sale. So I sat down with a saleswoman and told her what type of wrangler I was looking for, color, price, mileage, etc. She told me she would be right back, and what do you know, she came back with the jeep I wanted that was in the lot. I had my heart set right then and there. So I ran some numbers with her, trying to find something that would be affordable for me so I wouldn't have to live paycheck to paycheck - and being a college student, it's hard not to. I had also planned on saving for a new car for at least another year or until I graduated, but when my car got totaled, plans changed. I went back and forth until I was able to settle on something I could work with. After test driving it, I wanted to show my dad first before agreeing to anything. He's such a car fanatic and can take apart any vehicle blindfolded and put it back together blindfolded so he knew what he would be working with. So she said sure you can take it right to him! Which was awesome. I took it to his house and he looked over it and told me what needed to be fixed/replaced before I made any agreements. I got back to the dealership and told her what was going on. Eventually I sat down with Brandon, the general sales manager. He was great! He wanted to make sure I would walk away happy and safe with this vehicle. I explained to him what would seal the deal and he signed off on everything that needed to be taken care of and explained that once it was to go through service it would look amazing, which it did. Any questions that I had when I was at home, he got back to right away. You can tell he cares about his customers because he did everything he could to make this all work for me. He didn't want me to walk away empty handed. Not even an hour after I got home with my new jeep he contacted me to make sure I walked away happy. A+ for the finance department. I sat down with Juan, who is the most honest and straight forward person that I talked to at the dealership. I explained to him how I didn't want to stretch my limits with the payments but at the same time I wanted to go home in a vehicle that was safe and protected. He was very patient and didn't throw any curve balls at me. He too wanted to make everything work out the way I wanted. I went over warranties, registration, taxes, and all that fun stuff, ran some numbers, and still walked away with affordable payments and a protected vehicle! What's better than that? He was great. Juan made it such a simple and quick progress and made sure I had copies of everything I signed to take home with me. I would definitely recommend working with him for financing! I came back the next day to pick up my jeep and it looked AMAZING. I was beyond excited for my first big car purchase and the way it came out. Everything was clean, detailed, and fully repaired. A big thanks to the guys at metro for making this all happen for me! :) More

They tell you to Nightmare is the best word for my experience at METRO. They are the biggest liars and scam artists around talk about unprofessional. They tell you to take their vehicle overnight to see if you like it when you take it back the next day SURPRISE you own their vehicle that you never agreed on and then they steal your car in the process and don't want to return it to you. They should be investigated for their deceptive ways and the illegal things that are being done at this dealership. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. STAY AWAY More
I called the Metro Jeep dealership on a Monday after having a very bad experience with Bald Hill Jeep. I set up an appointment to test drive the new 2014 Jeep Wrangler on Sunday at 3:00 pm. The vehicl having a very bad experience with Bald Hill Jeep. I set up an appointment to test drive the new 2014 Jeep Wrangler on Sunday at 3:00 pm. The vehicle I was interested in was in transit. My wife and I, arrived at the dealership and were treated like we were family. We discussed what we wanted, the price we were willing to pay and our amount we wanted for our trade-in. Within 30 minutes we were on the exact page we wanted to be on. I was about to drive a wrangler and they stopped me. Wayne stated the actual vehicle I wanted was there and they were presently getting it off the delivery truck for us. We test drove the vehicle a few miles and knew it was what we wanted. I talked with Jeff in the parts department concerning extras we wanted and made appointments for installations. Next we went into Duarte's(Duey) office signed the papers for less than we had agreed upon to our surprise. We actually had fun the entire time we were there. I would highly recommend the Metro Jeep Dealership! More

I immediately g Before I left to drive an hour to the dealership I was assured the price we agreed to would not go up and the vehicle was available. I immediately got in my car and rove the hour only to be told the car was sold two hours ago by Chad. Only problem with that was Chad didn't know I had spoke to Lauren on the phone less than an hour ago. I called BS Ryan the sales manager on then and walked out before my blood boiled out of my ears. These people should have their dealer affiliations removed by the manufacturer. Would bike to work in a blizzard instead of buying a car from these DB's. Bunch of sleazebags More
