Headache and poor customer service. Lack integrity. I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado with 14000 miles on it and payed extra for the 172 point inspection for certified preowned. I thought it was included I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado with 14000 miles on it and payed extra for the 172 point inspection for certified preowned. I thought it was included in the internet price as it was advertised as certified pre owned. It wasn’t, so I payed 1400 extra for it that states all the body panels are good no damage which wasn’t true. Found out that there was body damage that they tried to hide with red touch up paint. Bumper was pushed in also and pulled back out. I notified Jose and he said they would make it right by fixing it. Was told a sales guy must of backed into something and had the body shop touch it up and not have told anyone. I was given a rental car. It took two weeks to fix it. I was called and told the body work was good and done and it was going to service for the 4wd light that was on. So a few hours later I was called and told it was done and asked if I could come get it. I said yeah I would be there in two and half hours because I live in Michigan. I get there and there are bumps all over the paint. So I went and got the owner Jeremy who asked if I thought they went above and beyond and I said no I don’t because the 172 point inspection they did stated every body panel had no damage. There are bumps all in the paint and is ridiculous. After it was all said and done with taxes this truck was over 40k. So they buffed and wet sanded most of them out for the next hour, still leaving some bumps. The body shop manger said it will never be as perfect as gm. So I stated I didn’t expect it to be but I have had a few cars painted before and never turned out like that. Not even one bump. I am pretty sure the paint problem is solvent pop. Which still isn’t fixed all the way. I set up an appointment with my paint shop to get a second opinion next just to make sure it will hold up. I also told Jeremy the week before that the locking key for the wheels lug nuts was missing. He stated that he drove that truck the day before I bought it and the lock nut key was in there. I said no it’s not. So he said it’s okay we will get you one. So when I picked the truck up the day of the paint problems he gave me the key he ordered for the wheels. While the body shop manager and I where going over the truck for the third time. I tried the locking key and it didn’t work. So I still never received the right key for the locking nuts on the truck so if I get a flat I will be stuck. Dealer charged over 800 for title transfer and plate transfer when it cost under 100 to have both services done according to my receipts. I was never told the mark up would be that high during the sale or I would have taken care of it myself and saved 700. They also charged me over on sales tax by 50.00. I have brought all these concerns up to the dealer before this review and gave them a chance to fix it. Been to this dealer 2 times since I bought the truck. I have bought plenty of cars and never had this many problems before. Jeremy the owner tried to fix the body and paint to make it right as that was my main concern. This falls on his body shop. Jeremy tried to fix most of the issues but they weren't fixed all the way at the end of it. If the paint would have been good and not have bumps in it and I had received the right key for the wheels, this review would have never been written. I have pictures if needed. After I get home I also realize red over spray all over one side of the spare tire and leaf spring bracket from when they painted. This is unacceptable from a gm certified body shop. More
